Such a pretty pup. We love our Foxhounds! We have both English and Americans. To anyone interested in these dogs, I would highly recommend contacting a rescue group that is breed specific. Research, research and more research. These hounds are definitely not for everyone. All of our hounds have come from rescue groups. Good luck and enjoy!! :)
I got a dog from a rescue org in February that they listed as a beagle. He started growing and growing and I had a beagle for 15 years and I thought this is not a Beagle. I found out he is a Foxhound and I am delighted, not that the rescue org messed up on the breed, but in him.
He is a wonderful loving friend. I am so lucky I found him.
@lilsexylovegirl yeah she was free (this is my other account) but I was really referring to whether you got them from a rescue organization or a registered world-class breeder. It doesn't really matter so long as you train them right. My Treeing Walker Coonhound I got in November at 6 weeks old is even better. But the true value of the dog really rests upon the owners shoulders.
Picking mine up tomorrow
