  • I watched this in the 90s it was brilliant.

  • lol me too

  • This show was made in the 1960s?

I thought it was an extra cartoon on Two Stupid Dogs.

  • Actually, that cartoon was entitled, "Super Secret Secret Squirrel" and differed from this version. But Hanna-Barbera made both.

  • omg i used to love two stupid dogs

  • "Winsome Witch" played in between.

  • I haven't seen this show yet, but I definitely wanna see this!

  • Secret Squirrel will be played by Macaulay Culkin.

  • Squiddly Diddly played out at the end.

  • This was the cartoon, NBC Saturday morning

  • We got a 100% instrumental intro in Mexico. Thanks for the video.

  • well it came back in the 90's, completely re-done.

  • ohhhh...

  • "That Squirrel ain't one of ours!"

  • i remember this as a kid - the opening bit with the car was mindblowing

  • Man he is too smart!!!!

  • I've seen a preview in 2003 - 2006

  • youre wierd.. answering yourself..

  • i said that to prevent people from replying with the answer to my question.. lol

  • it was super secret secret squirrel btw

  • I used to see this show on "The Banansplits" in the late 60's and on WFLD in the late 70's and later on WPWR with Atom Ant which was in the 80's. Also in the 80's I saw in a book that I first saw in teh 70's that had Adam Ant Secret Squirl were show together and of course later I finally saw the two shows together and seperate from "The Bannana Splits".

  • i watched this when i was a kid, ive been looking for the theme tune for years (im 51)thanks shhhhh

  • lol i've never heard of this, but it sure looks cool

  • Damn, I want his gadgets. =[

  • I LOVVVED S.S. and still do! I still have some old tapes of him from when Cartoon Network showed him (back when they had the good stuff). This was one of the best things that came out of the Sixties! :)

  • fuck i miss this show

  • This intro is so hebrew, I swear.

  • That's the funniest comment I've ever heard anyone make about a theme tune...bwahahaha! XD

  • Heh- Morocco Mole doesn't exit the car quickly enough and gets shut up in the case.

  • never saw this on TV

  • I LOVED HANNA-BARBERA CARTOONS!!!!!

Always full of characters and creativity to keep us entertained for years and years. I even had my favorites, and THIS is one of them.

This intro alone is sweet especially at the end.

    5 stars!

  • wasnt his arch enemy called Yellow Pinkie?

  • yes yellow pinkie was a huge uy that inhaled and blew his breath with hurricane velocity.his voice was modeled after sidney greenstreet. and morocco moles voice was after peter lorre. i was lucky enough to be 7 years old whan this cartoon was popular . and it is cool to see it on youtube.

  • My god mate youve either got a good memory or done your homework lol. I was minus 3 y.o when this came out but i do remember watching it around 75ish

  • I actualy remember this stuff and became a cartoonist myself. do you remember the hillbilly bears? that was funny, my mother laughed herself sick over that . another hanna barberra one. I just watched a youtube on the go go golphers Termite Terror I laughed my self silly! my wife was wondering what the hell was so funny . the term whoopie doopie, and the way he says it is too funny . anyway I think some cartoons nowadays are crap.

  • The hillbilly bears?no, but i remember " The Hair Bear Bunch" really enjoyed that one. O..O..Mr Peevley. Haha

  • wow i don't remember the Hair Bear Bunch. look up the Hillbilly bears on youtube papa bear just mumbles then says a key word like the babbeling retarded golpher on go go golphers

  • what a squirrel!

  • A James Bond spoof.

  • yeah fabs you can say that^^ incredibly stupid idd, fucking morons:P

  • HB rulez! Especially from the beginning till the very end of the '80s. The cartoons weren't only just a show, but a transistor of the time's mode and music. Just look at Tom&Jerry: it's full with jazz

  • Well I think I know that SS stand for Secret Squirrel....jeez...

    OK, little hint! nazis....Schutz-Staffel

  • I Agree with you. There are incredibly stupid ignorant people out there.

  • Yeah thats right, because this is not the opening theme i used to see.

btw what the hell was wrong with the people behind this cartoon?? putting SS on a car....

  • S.S. fo Secre Squirrel. What else?

  • What the....there were TWO secret squirrel series?

  • I remember watching this show too. they don't make cartoons like this anymore!

  • One of my favorite cartoons as a kid. They just don't make 'em like they used to. Thanks for sharing!

  • A cartoon legend. I loved this guy.

  • 秘密探偵クルクルか・・・懐かしいね。

  • I used an online translator for your comment and this is what came up: "Detective secret or roll・・・nostalgic."

    Is this correct? :)

  • Wow! How many memories!!! Here in Brazil Secret Squirrel was called "Esquilo Sem Grilo" (No-problem-squirrel). :-)

I feel fortunate for being a child in the 70´s.

  • Secret Squirrel, Inch High Private-Eye, Hong Kong Phooey!!! Legendary cartoons all!!!! Hahahaha!! To Spruxy--waddya mean the intro is tacky!!! It's bloody excellent!!

  • Hahaha, Morocco Mole was awesome.

  • too cute.

  • No offense to everyone who likes this old one, but I liked the newer Secret Squirrel better.

  • and no offense to you but the quality of stories are better are on the original by far and the new ones can't compare, i'm sorry but i just love the original so much and the new wasn't even better than two stupid dogs.

  • sir, two stupid dogs were awesome.

  • WOW i loved this so much Oh Wow!!!!!!!!

  • I'm sorry *dries eyes* I absolutely cry laughing when I watch it, 'shot gun cane with a ratta tatta tat'

  • I used to watch Secret Squirrel and Atom Ant when I was little. This is so nice. Thank you for posting this. Squibbly Squid... Vroom Vilda... Memories...

  • 00:26

    Secret squirrel is a MURDERER!

  • He could possibly be considered as a Hitman too xD.

  • thank you now i have proof that secret squirrell exists

  • he suckes

  • yes, i love this show, i can barely remember it.

  • I once made a model of Morocco Mole for a school project... lol.

  • What a cool & groovy critter...

  • Esta es mi caricatura favorita de HB, ahora Joe Barbera esta junto a William Hanna haciendo caricaturas en el cielo... =(

  • I was born in 1970 but this cartoon is strangely familiar...

  • pretty standard stuff

  • "Machene gun cane with a RATATATATAT!!" :D:D

  • Secret kicks ass! Give him DVD!

  • The begining of this cartoon sounds like the 60's TV version of Batman.

  • Listen to the end of the theme song as well. It'll sound familar too.

  • Sadly, Morocco Mole went on to become a Jihadist and blew himself up killing several innocent cartoon characters.

  • oh? did they show up on a boat one day & take over his land?

  • That cartoon kicked ass!!!!

  • I remember watching this toon premier along with Atom Ant on the first Saturday that it aired in the U.S. Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera landed in a helicopter on top of their studios to present their twonew "groovy" creations. And they were!

  • Classic cartoon

  • They re did this for 2 stupid dogs.

  • Pure class.

  • best cartoon!

  • one of the best cartoons, the spanish version intro was without lyrics.

  • Anybody remember "Stuffy Derma" the hobo?

  • That was a feature of Hal Seegar's "Milton The Monster" show on ABC. They didn't make a lot of Stuffy Derma eps.

  • Man, this was one of the coolest cartoon characters ever - next to "Top Cat" It's too bad they don't make 'em like this any more. Glad to see people share my interests.

  • Absolutely CLASSIC!!

  • Bad ass cartoon!
