The model seems to be from Henry Thouvenel (1851-1929), luthier at Mirecourt (Lorraine, France). He was a son from a larger family of luthiers (violin makers), starting end of the 18e untill the beginning of the 20th centrury. However Henry (pupil of luthier Nicolas Colson) was more known for his guitars en hurdy gurdies.
