I bought this CD years ago and absolutely loved it! I especially liked the booklet that came with it. At the risk of sounding like a total nerd, I had a Titanic-themed birthday and had this playing in the background. I even talked my mom into cooking some of the recipes out of the book The Last Dinner on the Titanic. Thank you for uploading these!
@bassbaritoneguy don't worry, I've done that for 3 years... My mum was tired after cooking first class!!! Can I ask anyone who commented here the following: I've heard the White Star March on this CD and guessed it was the Line's anthem. Therefore does anyone know if Cunard had the same? Where can I get this info? Thank you
I have a shift at a Titanic exhibit, and The Mosquito's Parade is one of the songs they play in it, and whenever I go into the room when it's playing and I'm alone, I shuffle around to the song. It's one of my favourites.
At the risk of sounding like a goofball....is it true that the Titanic Exhibit is haunted? I understand that you have a lot of personal effects of the passengers there that bring supernatural activity to the place.
Anyway thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. I would love to hear any stories you have at your job. I would LOVE to work there.
@ThoughtTraveler It's not haunted, but it would be cool if it was. One of the thigs they have at the exhibit is a video of the ship being built, which I think is the coolest part of the entire thing.

@NintendogsPlayer Lucky you! I took my daughter to see the traveling Titanic exhibit when it was at the Ontario Science Center in Toronto a couple of years ago. Having worked as a historic site interpreter myself, I was happy to be able to talk to the costumed guides. They were so knowledgeable and helpful; it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Over the years, I've read everything on the Titanic I could get my hands on, and it was so nice to be able to share my interest with others!
@terentii The Titanic exhibit when it came to Cincinnati had a interactive display where you could put your hand or arm in a container of water that was chilled exactly to the temperature that the sea was when the Titanic sunk. I tried it but could only hold my arm in for a few seconds it was so PAINFUL. I could only imagine how that must have felt over your ENTIRE body.
@ThoughtTraveler I remember one of the survivors (I think it was Jack Thayer) wrote that when he went into the water, it felt like a thousand knives were plunged into his body! BRRRRRRRR!
I remember once trying to swim in Lake Michigan in late May or early June. I was numb all over my body within ten seconds! What a horrible way to die....
o_0 the fist song was played in one of the Sailor Moon movies....

No you are not a nerd. I am just glad you enjoyed the videos. I would have liked to heard your birthday music.

I'll take a nerd who isn't afraid to love something over one of the cool kids who sit around being cool, any time.

@bassbaritoneguy Don't call yourself a nerd. You'd be surprised how many Titanic enthusiasts there are. And they show no sign of diminishing.
