AWESOME.The words prick the very heart of MAN.I was 17 when this came out;it was my escape from a Physically Abusive Parental Relationship. My mother was Bi-Polar and they both fought. Thanks to GOD for Larry Norman.Your Most Defintely in a Better Place.Amen and Amen.
This song brings me back...back to my early college days...back to the days of when I believed that wherever God wanted me to go, I would go....back to the days of living totally by faith because I didn't have anything else to fall back on. The road has gone far since then...Thanks for posting this song. Larry Norman always rocked!
I picked the album up from a church bookstore sometime late '76 or early '77 when I was on the road with an outreach band from Teen Challenge. His music has always been instrumental in keeping me focused in my walk with the Lord. Thanks for posting this and God bless
Larry is singing in his falsetto, which usually doesn't appeal to males, but it is the lyrics & melody are beautiful! It's one of my favorites too. I am so grateful there are so many of Larry's songs recorded. I miss Larry terribly.
