  • I kinda wish Mark been the only singer on this one.

  • powerful..I like the Gutter Twins a lot..however Holiday's version is still the best for me, I've never heard any other version which was SO powerful, beautiful and touching

  • sounds a bit like the way the Animals wouldve covered it. i love it <3

  • Rockin take on Billie Holiday's Song! ..Ml<3

  • Awesome! Do anyone know if it is possible to download the other songs of Dulli and Lanegan somewhere? Like their covers or when they perform eachothers solo songs?

  • Dulli's my hero, Lanegan rocks, long live Sub-pop!

  • i dont really like twilight singers...i think its just dulli i dont like. queens rock the fuck on, Lanagen rock the fuck on

  • have you listened to Afghan Whigs?

  • Yes, it is a great song, especially the version song by Billie Holiday. The song "condemned American racism, particularly the lynching of African Americans that had occurred chiefly in the South but also in the North for decades before this was written".

  • Great song. Shame it's not on Saturnalia.

  • It's on the 2004 album "She Loves You" by The Twilight Singers, though.

  • It's On one of dullis twilight singers albums.

  • Lanegan - brilliant loner, Dulli - the common man.

Can't help thinking they will not make it together.

  • i think i read mark say greg has been his best friend for years and years and they've helped each other get clean and stuff like that. i wondered why he left queens of the stone age and went on tour with the twilight singers and then i read that and thought "that explains it". i would be more surprised if they didn't do a second record together

  • Lanegan and Dulli are friends so they're not trying to 'make it' together... Qotsa was never more of a project for Lanegan, who played with Homme at the end of the Screaming Trees days. This project was never meant to be a permanent one - just two good friends playing music together.

  • @bobbypfalcon : You probably already know this but others might not: Dulli actually wrote the Twilight Singers song "Bonnie Brae" about Lanegan when he'd fallen off the wagon again.

  • I love these guys

  • i keep waiting for dulli to go into 'i want you (she's so heavy)'! awesome vid.
