Same shit-ass fixtures/indicator/bell as the Pieces of SHIT at the Marriott Copley Place, which are all original from 1984 2 Banks 1-27, and 1-5, 27-38
No, I think modernization fixes the was it runs too. Those elevators that mrmattandmrchay posted in "Tribute to Keighley Lifts! (elevator) - NOW DEMOLISHED" were modernized (Updated is a better word) and they ran smoother and their doors were not noisy!
@tennisfreak2495 The door close button is disabled by default in newer elevators because of 'door-closes'.

They should "refinish" this elevator (not replace the controls but give it a "face-lift")

That elevator's old, but still good, especially with a relay-controlled floor indicator.

Your ride took 48 seconds. It seemed as if the trip going UP was shorter than the DOWN trip but it just seems that way.

why dont you like them?
I love these fixtures they are kinda cool. Westinghouse made nice fixtures and its my favorite company these are better than schindler and epco

Geeze... The guests get to watch CNN while going up to their rooms but all the staff gets to see is graffiti? :)

Nice elevators, and the Westinghouse buttons are derived from Epco, which in this case is the CircleLine series button.

It sounds like it needs some modernization.

You mean repairing. Modernization fixes the look of an elevator, not the way it runs.
