MMEB are masters when it comes to covers. I think their cover of Joan Armatrading's "Visionary Mountains" is no less than a masterpiece. Truely and sadly, they are very underrated

Exactly.Bruce's renditions are unmatched but Manfred Mann truly did a good job on these songs and they were also clever enough to recognize the talent behind these songs and cover them before Bruce became a household name

Yeah, its a cover. BFD. Its an AMAZING cover. Sounds way more haunting than Bruce's. Literally gives me goosebumps cause you can just imagine this crazy group of kids running around all F-ed up on the sand somewhere and it brings back memories of my own. THANKS!!

Very nice version.I agree the studio version is superior to the live version.|This is also the case of another band doing a better job on the song than the original composer(Springsteen) in my opinion.
