Should probably note to people that you can only convert Lossless Audio Files with other Lossless Audio Files. Hence why in the video the guy clicked, "wav" rather than "ogg". If you convert an MP3 to FLAC, you're still getting the same quality you've got, except maybe slightly worse seeing as it's being transcoded. Once an audio file is compressed into something like an MP3, it is very, very, VERY hard to uncompress that same file back into it's original quality.

@VoCKillz123321 Hi! Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to convert .flac files to v0/v2 in the current version of the program. However, thank you for the suggestion! We'll pass it to our developers for consideration!
This is deceiving you can make a .flac from an .mp3, but the quality is not going to be any better. You cant make gold from silver.... unfortunately :(
@minakelliny Actually, MP3 format uses a form of "lossy" data compression. That means that an MP3 file does not contain 100% of the original audio information. FLAC in its turn is the format which compresses audio data without any losses. Thus, for the FLAC file to sound better it needs the original file to be of the format that hasn't lost any audio data yet (like CD .cda track). Unfortunately, FLAC cannot restore the original audio data that was lost when converting the source file to MP3.
will the quality actually get better? most of my mp3's are 128kb so if i convert them to flac will the audio be better? or will i have to rip it directly from a cd?
@melo15813 Actually, the quality of your .mp3 files won't get better if you convert them to .flac. You'll need to grab the tracks directly from a CD and convert them to .flac afterwards to keep the quality.
