  • I still have my child. Got it when I was 6. These were some of the cuttest dolls ever. Button Noses.

  • wow that embodies the 80s s well...

  • she probably takes better care of that doll then some parents ive heard of lol

  • SCARY

  • yea happy 3oth birthay doooll u aint no baby anymore haha

  • Her "child" Is like her age XD

  • Okay, the little Girl is only like 6, and She actually makes it seem like She really does have a child.Damn kids.

  • I never had those as a kid, but I recognize them, because my best friend in high school had two of them. She had the blonde one and a brunette one. Her large basement bedroom was actually kind of gross. It was so full of stuff from her childhood. Piles of old toys. We were like 15 or 16 at the time. It wasn't dirty but dingy. She was stuck in time, like she didn't want to grow up. You'd never know seeing her at school though.

  • Haha... why did I just tell that story?

  • two young???

  • To all of saying u want one go to Ebay thats where i get mine..(just a little tidbits for you MC lovers);)

  • i want one and im 11

  • My Child? The girl makes it seems like she really has a child and she's like what ten? I know it's jsut a doll, but come on, just the thought,lol...

  • i want one :)

  • I still have. I got it for Christmas when I was probably about 4.

  • I have one I got her in a thrift store of all places

  • Good Stereotyping

  • i still have mine

  • Yeah i wanted the My child. I put it on my christmas list and who gets it? MY SISTER and it didnt look like me at all LOL.

  • @anynamewilldo500 Well said...

  • I wanted one of those dolls so bad but I never got one because when I went to get one all they had left were the boy dolls and I wanted a girl!

  • the english version was a shop full of my childs all waiting to be adopted ,did i imagine this

  • i had this doll..the red headed one with the sailor dress.lolz

  • I remember this commercial. Iwas 8 years old in 1985 when I saw this commercial. Thanks for bringing back memories.

    But I can't afford any. :|

  • :P they were adorable and ye their little face got really dirty eaily I still have mine though... :)

  • i do not remember this doll.

  • I still have my "My Child" doll. Her name is Twinkles. When I was a child, I used to think my other dolls were jealous of her since she was so pretty

  • I still have mine. She's so cute.

That little girl was kinda.. mature wasn't she? Wow.

  • wow. to be that young again. Saturday morning cartoons, cereal, and block sized freeze tag games. We had it good as kids back then.

  • I loved my "My Child" Doll only thing was they got dirty really easily. The body and face were made of like micro-fiber.

  • The only thing I heard of regarding My Child was that really charming stroller they had by the Aprica company. I was into Cabbage Patch Kids more.

  • wow, that commercial totaly creeped me out... i don't even know what to say about it....

  • Diddnt liked this doll very much.:S I really don't know why

  • What a nightmare.

  • Sweet, I still have mine. I lost her original outfit, so I ended up dressing her in one my own infant dresses and patent leather shoes that I kept.

  • I find it strange to encourage a child to want their own "child".

I mean, fair enough to give kids a doll, but to name it a child seems really freaky to me!!!

  • besides cabbage patch dolls my child dolls were my favorite. i had a dark headed one and i still remember opening it up on christmas morning and completely flippin' out over it.. lol..

  • I wanted one sooooo bad, but never got one. And the prices on ebay are rediculous so....no thanks...

  • I collect My Child Dolls. If you want to sell your doll or accesories, please email me: vicky_vazq @ hotmail . com (no spaces)

    Thank you!

  • I still have my my child doll her name is toni

  • Can you put a picture of it on youtube this commericial wasnt to clear

  • the making of a stepford wife... SCARYYY!!!!

  • got to say, i never liked these. something about their 'furry' skin creeped me out. I guess i was used to cabbage patch dolls and then later magic nursery dolls - their hair was real and you could kiss a love heart on their cheeks and it would change into a star.

  • there cool

  • I loved my child. I thought they were the cutest little things when i was a kid. I named mine Sarah.

  • me too i miss my my child she was so cute and i loved her hair ....

  • I miss my MY Child Doll!! :-(

  • These dolls inspire little girls to be sluts and have bastard kids.

  • I never had a My Child doll, but my best friend had, so I played with that one, they were so pretty! She named her doll just "My Child", but she was wearing braces at that time so it sounded like "Maishai" XDDDD

  • What a difference from that Lazy Daisy commercial huh? This little girl knows how to be a mommy, LOL. :)

  • I had a My Child doll. I remember my parents putting her on layaway at Sears until I helped earn some money for her. When I finally got her, I named her Kathy Ann. She had black curly hair and came wearing green overwalls, a striped shirt, and a little green hat. So cute! Imagine my surprise years later when I found out that Kathy Ann was actually a *boy* doll. Apparently, all the girls had long hair and came wearing dresses!

  • What a cute story! XD

I would had been so dissapointed XD

But all My Child dolls looked like girls to me =O

  • I miss my My Child doll. That was the coolest doll I ever had!
