  • @f00k321 that's what i thought to is it?

  • great advice

  • What also helped me was punching the heavybag with wrist weights.

  • Who is this guy? Was he training with Ricky Hatton? Lol

  • @mnvinn Justin Fortune, former HW title contender and former strength and conditioning trainer for Pacquiao.

  • 0:05 - 0:16 - Ricky Hatton

  • @TheNewestUploader

If you keep on working then you're going to see that you are faster and faster, trust me ;)

  • 29 not fast enough

  • Great video, where can I get some of those sandbags?

  • this dude claps his hands so fast u cant even see ti xD

  • 28 people dont have arms

  • @WasntLag huh? But thumbs to press dislike?

  • I only stick with the tough exercise's because I feel as if it's making me tougher and I enjoy that.

  • @xR1D1xful

Boxing isn't all about brawn, though.

If you try and go too strong, you will be restricted to movement because you and your muscles are so big.

But as long as you enjoy it it's cool!

  • @ZakTheGreatKing

No, I'm speaking of a beast of a man boxer I'm talking about tough training for example a 4 mile jog everyday just as a warm up you don't need to be muscular to be tough.

  • @xR1D1xful theres some kids in my gym who try to spar with kids 20lbs heavier just to build a chin/toughness

  • i had a couple of street fights, and ex boxers are the best street fighters out there

  • damn so cool . such a science to boxing. im totally going to watch all your videos i'm big fan already

  • Would love this guy as a trainer, seems really cool

  • Thnkz

  • was that ricky hatton ? lol

  • @shogo177 i believe so! lol

  • @shogo177 It's in the description.

  • ... I gotta get me some sandbags in my room....

  • this is one of the best trainers I' ve seen on youtube, if only i had a bag in my room :(

  • THANK YOU SIR

  • 27 people can't pivot

  • tip that i discoverd, wrist waits and clap pushups also work

  • the boxer just happens to be australian lol

  • Thanks. I'll try this!

  • this is a serious question. when doing that exercise how does it make your feet better coordinated and fast too?

  • @eatmychins It doesn't, it's just for hand speed, if you want faster and more coordinated feet do ladder drills. And I don't mean just running up and down them, I mean REAL ladder drills.

  • @BXC747 thanks man.

  • is it too late to take up boxing at 17?

  • @gkSRFC no, becuase their boxers who have been training since 19, like tom stalker a Olympic boxer who is competing for 2012 and I know a boxer who is over 20 and he does it as well so no

  • @gkSRFC NOOOOOOO way go for it wish I had started at 17 instead of 20

  • one of the few people on expert village that are good. he's not the greates trainer but he's ok.

  • @arandinator69 u just did.

  • It actually worked!#

I tried doing lots of them for the whole day and when i finished my punching speed improved by a lot.

but then the next day it went back down again

  • @TheNewestUploader you have to practice more than just one day

  • @TheNewestUploader epic :D

  • @TheNewestUploader You have to repeatedly do it in order for you to maintain the speed.

  • @TheNewestUploader you have to keep it up daily and it will become permanent- 417 years boxing experience

  • @TheNewestUploader youre supposed to do a 3 or 4 sets and do them everyday or every other day

when you stopped doing them the process of building your fast twitch fibers stopped

  • @TheNewestUploader "use it or lose it"

  • No , thank you.

  • Was that ricky hatton

  • or take a 10 pound dun bell in your hand and practice your punches

  • @pimpmastero4 Yeah I thought I was the only one who did that lol.

  • will doing only 10 reps accomplish anything? it seems kind of useless to do that little

  • @givemeacoke I do this kind of training myself. 10 reps for 1 set might not do too much. But doing mutliple sets with short rests in between will do a hell of a lot. It's not done for strength or endurance, It's a speed and coordination drill. Although it will develop some endurance, it's not the primary goal. If you go till failure, your last reps will be really slow. But if you do multiple sets of 10, you're training the explosiveness and speed every set.

  • @hulkout666 aight thank you

  • theirs a possibility some of those half mill people are already boxers and are just trying find new techniques to train.

  • @gusani834 correct it then?

  • about half a million noobs want to become fighters?

  • Thanks for the tip (:

  • That brain damage.

  • nice one!

  • how many sets?

  • I bet a lot of morons ignored him completely, and did the plyo exercise till failure.

  • @chiconspiracy i dnt do plyo vbuh wouldnt it be more effective to do if not to failure until u strain and do 3 sets?

  • @aaronharun

Always safer to err on the side of caution with plyo exercises. You want to be fresh for every one.

  • @chiconspiracy k thanc

  • @Chslosers most of the time you can just press f5 (refreash) to skip the adds.

  • i put 2 thick books on each other and its very cool! at first its pretty tiring and hard but later it becomes easier . so if i put more and more books on each other that means i will become more faster?

  • @RichiBitch No stop that , you just keep i going.. The more sets the better! But dont put more books. as long as you can do them without slowing down the better..

  • @connymat aha . Thank You so much . i can do 10-11 without slowing down . how many times should i do this exercise?

  • @RichiBitch As often as you like...

  • @connymat aha . Thank You so much for the help!

  • I started boxing 3 months ago, I have power but no speed, gotta give this a shot =/

  • @marshalmathers It is hard to have Power without speed as POWER is essentially Speed x Strength.

  • @marshalmathers that means your just strong cuz power = strength and speed

  • Nice tips! Anyone looking for some POWERFUL kicks type "woodbury martial arts" into their youtube browser..

  • @nickflit DON'T!!!!!

  • ur hands = shovels

  • ur hands = shovles

  • Check philcoool Ex 59 Cdm from Birmingham UK.See my many boxing videos.

  • hips down while push up. your head, back, hips and legs should be in a straight line

otherwise it won´t bring you much

so make one line while doing push up-exercieses

its up to you if you wanna do sth for your body or not =P

  • My goal is to punch faster than manny pacquiao and floyd mayweather combined...lets see if this helps

  • Is there a workout to increase the power of your punch aside from punching a sandbag several times???

  • @alfredkyo the first time i threw a jab it was weak ( i was punching in the air) i did that numerous times my jab is now pretty powerful xD just need the speed to top it

  • It is cool, take a look at mine and rate if you like army boxing i am the welter eight EX 59 Commando, carpet cleaning, tiling, gardening and holiday videos.

  • Statistics says that 29% of the boxing population is prone to dirty windshields. A recent study also concluded that the colour red is the new black and that arachnophobia is irrational unless you get poisoned by a really dangerous spider. Thank you for your time. Now I'm going to wash my hair.

  • what a great tip! when building speed the exercise is not about fatigue and endurance.. i need to shorten my reps

  • Pliometrics is the secret to superhuman speed and power. There are a number of ways you can do them to build different things, but they will push an athlete beyond the limits that simple weight training possesses. Building your core is always most important, and working your whole body with weights, along with awerobics is very important as well, but with pliometrics, you train your body to move as fast as your mind can react.

  • i cant do push ups =[

  • good basic clip, me likey

  • hey guys go to my channel and watch my boxing vid, im 14 and new to boxing, i need tips :)

  • nice video very helpful :D

  • 20 people got knocked out beacause of basic pliometrics

  • @farystookool Teach me how to fight please

  • no matter what position u grapple me i can always find ur balls xD

  • @Rilamin67 There is no "submitting" in street fighting. You break their arms.

  • @MESSER8989 There is no street fighting in the streets anymore. People just tend to pull out a gun and start shooting. Sucks but its the sad truth.

  • this guys expression never changes

  • @farystookool OMG You are so cool.. -.-

  • @SomeMartialArtsGuy you are an idiot, "you if don'twant to dedicate your self to hours of training... do boxing" boxing take HOURS of training and dedication. what you said could easily be applied to MMA as well, become a decent MMA fighter nad you oculd beat up the average guy too, besides that's the main reason angry kids learn MMA

  • @SomeMartialArtsGuy This guy deserves some thumbs up! First person who actually told it like it is. Good man.

  • grappling on d street is alot different to d gym, it depends what surface your on u and can get pretty messed up even if u win. Eyes, goin and biting is all fair game on d street (can be hard to sub sumone when their biting ya lol) i was taught d no 1 rule if your getting attacked by more then 1 is never go to the ground on d street.

  • what i ment was kicking a foot ball as in keeping your kicks low and most people can kick a foot ball but domt have the balance or skill to kick like a martial artist

  • i my self have been involved in karate judo and many other martial arts over the years.iam now 45.i have to say that boxing has got to be one of the deadlest fighting arts in the world as the boxer is taught to take a punch and hit full contacked.if you can kick a foot ball than thats all you need to learn about kicking.keep your kicks low learn to punch and learn a bit of of grapling and how to fight on the ground then you have got a good all round fighting style.

  • @679hot kicking a football isnt anything like kick a person.... thats a great way to break your whole foot

  • thanks for the tips

  • is that ricky hatton!? LOL

  • @SomeMartialArtsGuy sorry for bad english

  • @SomeMartialArtsGuy Boxing and wrestling is a pretty successful combo in mma fights.

  • @DuykRuyk i do kick boxing and wrestling. i jus started wrestling tho.

  • @sk8terzyard My style is kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I modified kickboxing heavily though.

  • 18 people can't do 10 reps.

  • @NintenD00D64 james toney cant do 5 reps of that. :))

  • @NintenD00D64 hahahaaaa

  • @NintenD00D64

    22 people can't do 22 reps.

  • Manny Pacquiao FTW!

  • that guy looks like greg graffin (singer of bad religion)

  • isn't pylometric for your vertical leap to do dunks?
