  • Minunat !!! Felicitari !!!

  • Toss in some fresh organic celery and I'm there!

  • Heh! This was for free. And the Wholefoods customers were MUCH more receptive than the others. So that even the performers seem to enjoy it more. That's how it is with art. The best outreach imaginable.

  • This cracked me up, this is great!! now I want opera in my supermarket!

  • Hmmm.... the exact same stunt that Opera Company of Philadelphia did at the train station there... I wonder which one came first...

It's a nice idea, but I wish they had used a soprano and tenor who could actually sing the music as it's written, and in tune! Too much to hope for?

  • Absolutely Fantastic!!!!!!

  • I wish the Vancouver Opera Company would do this!

  • The magic of the voices is all the more stirring for having burst from the humdrum surroundings.

  • Wonderful! Whatever it costs! This a lesson all retailers should learn.

  • Please do it again, but outside or some place where more than ten spectators can be found. Summer is coming in!

  • This was great!!

  • I LOVE IT!!! I was singing along!! What a great idea! I wish we'd have something like this in our food stores here in the Poconos, instead of the piped-in country western music I have to endure!

  • can't understand why they are so well heard over the store noise, don't see any body mikes. I wish there are more projects like this with less beaten up music then "LeBiamo".

  • @lovemypiano111 They are well heard because they are opera singers. They are heard clearly in a large theater over the orchestra, surely they can be heard in a small store. They probably hid something for recording nearby. I do also wish they've done more of it and with different selections - Rigoletto, Carmen - and in a place where there are more people, it's a great way to introduce people to opera.

  • No wonder Whole Foods' prices are so high! :)

  • Now show the burning-at-the-stake scene from Verdi's "Don Carlos".

  • I enjoyed this video greatly! well done!

  • Well done!

  • That's in Baltimore; they don'e have wine sales in the grocery stores, do they? There is a nice wine shop nearby though as I recall.

  • they should have been in the wine department!

  • Well that makes up for ALL the deceptive labeling and product peddling they been up to!!!

  • I hope to see them at Wegman's!

  • Nice idea, but it leads a poor kid to start drinking (2:33)

  • What a fun idea to introduce opera in an unlikely setting. Kudos to the excellent young singers.--CV Fort Collins Opera board

  • Delightful!!

  • wonderful!

  • YOU'RE ALL GON GET GOOSED

  • Use the surveillance cameras so people won't know something is up before the show starts.
