we are getting our first sheetz here in Princeton WV. actually we are getting two of them. one is almost finished and they are just now starting on the other one
man o man do i hate altoona... if you go to the this sheetz im not sure if this is 17th street.. but if you go to 17th street on friday nights and saturday nights... youll ALWAYS see 16-25 year old with their lightshow cars.. imports with the loud mufflers.. it seems all their kind meet there. rice town. they all go there cuz theres nothing to do past 9pm in altoona pa.. im glad i got out of there.
I work in a Sheetz, and it's really not that great. During summer there are fly problems, so when you open up the veggie coolers or the bread boxes there are always flies crawling around on the food. Once I came into work and there was a fly swimming around in the mayo...and they didn't tell me to get rid of it, either! The only time I would recommend eating at a Sheetz would be at the MTgo pre-made sandwiches section. It's probably cleaner...maybe.
it's not just sheets, every food place is like that. But who cares? A little fly in your mayo isn't going to kill you. People complain about the condition of restaurants and stuff but they are about as clean as your home kitchens anyway.

@a1465 Yeah, pretty much, or at least it was that way until they began building those Super Sheetz stores. Amazingly there's only one Sheetz in downtown Altoona (two if you consider the school area part of downtown).
I think this is the "Convience Resturant". I've heard abut how massive the place is. As being a Sheetz employee, I think I need to make a pilgimage to it! LOL :)
Altoona has like 10 sheetz lol this is the mega one tho

the Sheetz Mother store, I love this place when in Altoona I always stop there.
Two things that Altoona is famous for...Sheetz and Horse Shoe Curve, three if you count Jimmy Durante.
