"legt an" in this context means "aim" (at the target) and is the execution part. So the whole command translated according to its meaning is "Aim the weapons" (in spoken English it would rather be "Aim your weapons") with the intent to prepare to fire.

Still we can't blame the whole thing at Ea, why did westwood even let ea take it?

Their publisher was EA way before but then westwood did really bad , they cancelled 2 games and Renegade was a fail it wasn making any good sales.

So then ea said "this is the end you guys had your chances!" then they took the half of westwood buildings then Westwood was sold and instead Ea combined all the buildings and formed EA los angles. Some people from westwood still work at EA l.A but most left.

Ea did not make the game EA was the Publisher they were not the developer at that time, Westwood was the developer and Ea was the Publisher, so westwood went bankrupt because of poor sales and cancelled games. Westwood was in a desperate situation, they had no money so they sold their company to EA then E.A formed E.A LOS Angeles in 2003 which started DEVELOPING games. A week ago EA got new RTS gaming office called Victory Games so no more E.A L.A. Still ea didn't ruin cnc.
