@DrPalmeaIsley Nope. It's easy paint-tool SAI. It's a Japanese coloring program. :3 I think it's better than manga studio. Manga studio should be mainly used for...adding comic tones and setting up panels. ^_^;
For this particular piece, the size of the canvas was 1500x1200. I work big because my tablet isn't too sensitive on its own. Size makes up for this lack of cooperation from my tablet. (I have a Wacom graphire 3 at 5x3.75 inches. Very small!)

Oh, well, I am new to Easy Paint Tool SAI, too, but I've been using the advanced program, Photoshop, and the free OpenCanvas 1.1 so that explains why I'm good with it. It's just that the equipments in SAI are much more fluid-like than that of Photoshop, which I like a lot!
As for suggestions...I'd suggest them to learn to color in general first like color shades and lighting source. Also, I'd suggest they make use of the masking layer. It's better to use it than the select-tool. :3

I'm kinda new to paint SAI, but I have gimp, and i'm used to colors and such, I do a bit of pixel dolls.
