Tip: If your red/blue 3D glasses are facing the wrong way (Red left, blue right) just wear them backwards. Or, if they're cheap ones, fold them back. :P

guys, you can make these glasses for cheap if you just go to the dollar tree and buy a red and a blue ruler. use a cardboard box to make the frame of the glasses, and just cut a square or circle out of the rulers, and glue the edges to the glasses. boom. you just made 3d glasses for 2 dollars! lol. + u can make more with the left over rulers.

For things to look close, red shows on the left and cyan shows on the right. This is the mirror image of what should be and therefore it doesn't work. This is a very inept error in my opinion. Jeeze!

What SHOULD be a standard is including which side the red is on in the title or right away in the description.

If you have no vision problems, it doesn't matter which you use. But, cyan allows blue and green light. Red allows only red so that should be given to people's dominant eye in case of color blindness. Wiki said 2/3 of people are right-eyed. That's why I like red/right.

because there are now more sophisticated types of glasses, made to give better 3d picture quality. They common names for these glasses are red and cyan colored lensed glasses and polarized glasses.

the reason you cant see this picture in 3d is because at all cinemas no they use polarized glasses because they give of a better picture where as for this picture you need red and cyan colored lenses. that is why if you look at the edge of these flying blocks you will notice that they have a red edge

In "My bloody valentine 3d" they are using a new kind of 3d. With this 3d they do not use red and blue glasses.

MBV3D and all other modern 3D movies (like Coraline and Bolt) use polarized glasses, which were first used for 3D still pictures in 1891, before motion pictures were even popular. Also, most of the 3D movies in the 50's were polarized. It wasn't until later that movies for red/cyan glasses (anaglyph) came out. Since that sucked, movies are now polarized again. Unfortunately, you can't do polarized on youtube, so we are stuck with anaglyph, so your glasses from MBV3D won't work here.
