PJ is a great actor....but he is hopelessly hamstrung by a bad script in Whitechapel....

which is not to say that the series is bad.....its just that his character never gets

an elbow room to flourish.

I think the Audrey criticism came from a review of the 39 Steps that appeared in the Sunday Times (4 Jan, 2009). See the fourth paragraph down...

Anyway, Gill's point seems to be that RPJ, like AH, looks fabulous, but is very limited in his acting skills. Not sure I agree, but I am biased and still have a bit of a crush on him as Adam :)

Audrey Hepburn is one of my all-time favourite actresses, one of the most beautiful women ever! So if it was meant to be an insult... Well it back-fired because it actually makes no sense!

Love Rupert, such a lovely man and a great actor.

I think Gill called Rupert a male Audrey Hepburn (because he's so damn gorgeous). If that was meant to be a put down it failed miserably in my book. Jealous, much?

Anyway, can't wait for the boxing match between Chandler and one of the "Krays". Mmmm.. boxing gloves... silk shorts.... (fans herself manically).
