@Elvislivzon It's because one plane and stack and tilt are rational models for maximum of efficiency. Kite, Stadler, Stewart, Wadkins, and Sutton was not following a "model" of swing but had just a few basic technical points and then let the instinct go. Nowadays, most of players try to rationalize every inch of their swing and it's make it look less natural.

Quite a contrast from most of what we see in today's "one plane and stack and tilt" golf swings. So much more fluid and graceful.
