@Dharklionz I like the locust, I think their sound is comparable to that of the Jonas Brothers, or at least their earlier work. This song also seems to have some elements reminiscent of Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus. Really great stuff.

Disorganization and chaos is the point of this kind of music.
In terms of complexity, I'd rate them both the same. Each band just utulizes it in different ways. The Locust is obviously more punk and grind influenced while Behold is more progressive metal influenced. I wouldn't say you are too slow to understand, you just don't like really noisy, chaotic and dissonant music, which I can understand.

You have to be a dipshit to at least not admit that the drummer has talent. Actually it's obvious that the band as a whole is talented they just use their talents in unconventional ways. I bet this song is a lot harder to play then most of the stuff you listen to. You are entitled to your opinion and you can say dislike and like the music you want, but you can't call these dudes untalented.

Disorganization and chaos is the point of this kind of music.
In terms of complexity, I'd rate them both the same. Each band just utulizes it in different ways. The Locust is obviously more punk and grind influenced while Behold is more progressive metal influenced. I wouldn't say you are too slow to understand, you just don't like really noisy, chaotic and dissonant music, which I can understand.

the locust is such an incredible band. i know a lot of people give them shit cuz their music isn't very accessible but i admire and respect these guys. their timing signatures are insane! i'm really glad this focuses a lot on the drummer cuz he is really the one with the most talent. this is hard, technical, and intense stuff to play.
