@goog1967 Its not Kessel's fault the leafs finishes 2nd last, its because Kessel is there only big scoring threat right now and if they didnt have Kessel they would do even worse. You gotta remember there is so much pressure to play in Toronto, its much easier to play in Boston. This is why leaf draft picks fail more than any other team, because they cant handle the prssure. people expected big things out of Jiri Tlusty, Alex Steen and Coalicacovo who were all 1st round picks.

Poni is a UFA after this year, Stajan is an RFA and he doesn't and never really has fit in with the team, and the 4th line could be the grinders/enforcers.. The 3rd line isn't bad considering Hanson was a power forward in college and is big, Bozak is pretty gritty and is good at faceoffs and Stalberg is big and fast, not to mention they're all good in their own end.
