All of these UFC/MMA buffs... On every kung-fu video I see. "THAT WILL GET U KILLED IN MMA" or "THAT WONT WORK IN AN MMA FIGHT". Honestly, if you think you're tough, go to the temple and challenge one of these guys to a spar. And by the way, it looks fancy and flowery because this is a set being performed to an audience, so it's supposed to!

@ this wouldnt get you killed in a real fight.... those techniques are design to skip the street brawling and end the fight in seconds. spear finger to the throat, eyes.. believe it or not they can pierce your skin and objevcts with their finger tips, smooth as butter. this is a form, which in ancient times was used to pass down techniques kinda like how we do today with youtube. so u remember a set ammnt of movements..(form) in order to practice the strikes in the form.
