  • Man, that looked delicious. I would like to find some wild horseradish sometime; it sounds like fun.

  • @Keybo64 one of those times something worked out as well as hoped. Thanks for watching

  • Boys. I got hold of some of that sauce once but it was a lot thicker--like paste. I put it on a hamburger and when I got a taste it "Anesthetized" my throat and lungs! I absolutely could not breathe for a while. I thought: This is what John the Baptist must've felt like. It was beyond hot (I don't know that that word would be). Needless to say, I haven't eaten any since.

  • @richardelam100 yeah, they can get mighty strong, seems especially so later in the season

  • Those are easy to miss if you're not looking for 'em. Looks real tasty!

  • wow, I can almost smell it! Looks great. I remember my first experience with home-canned horseradish - I was a little over confident, and some of the aroma migrated from my mouth to my sinuses, and it nearly knocked me out of my chair, lol.

  • @drzmanproject hey Drz! great to hear from you. We need to check the calendar for some future events :)

  • When you processed the radishes I could smell them from here : )

  • @CampfireTalk I did a batch late season a few years back, whew! It was hours until someone could get and grab the processor. It immediately knocked out vision and breathing!

  • @usframe Hah, if I had done that my wife would still be holding that one over my head : )

  • Super my friends, wow, your wild edible are much better as my, haha. Great job, cool idea with the kitchen machine, ...I always have to cry with a grater : ) Once again: Super! Have a great Day Sepp

  • @Waldhandwerk I did finish the chopping to the size desired on a cutting board. Early spring harvests are not as strong as later in the year. Thanks for visiting!

  • Mmmmmmmmmmm! Looks good!

  • cool vid , how can you tell what wild horserish looks like ?

  • @wingshooterz I had grown radish years ago, so I had an idea of what to look for. Over the years, it was a matter of knowing the mature plant, and then trying to locate them early as possible. They are different than the red and icicle varieties.

  • the word foraging always reminds me of goats :)

  • @ArtisanTony lol, any story to go with that?

  • @usframe Yes, a friend of mine who lived on the mountain thought he would get some goats to keep the grass cut and they ended up walking all over his BMW :)

  • @ArtisanConstruction haha, they climb on top of everything! For a while, guys were getting llamas for clearing brush in these parts.

  • so yummy. time to find me some fresh horseradishes...

  • Any plans to make your own Mayo?

  • @Pir8AdventureLeague as usual, time gets tight. Have you made any as yet? That would make it a go. We did get eggs straight from the chicken earlier, also.

  • @usframe I make a few different kinds of mayo. With the food processors these days it's pretty easy. I'll show you one of these days.
