I use mine as a tempo blink.. jus send a midi note into one of the buttons for each beat - got a clip playing in Ableton that runs the whole time.. visual metronome FTW!
@buzbee1991 Controlling the LEDs can be done while using audio & MIDI. However, as far as I know the user can control LEDs freely only on Linux and not on Win/Mac.
Sorry, use it on Windows & Linux, but don't have a mac.
The manufacture (Native Instruments) has a very active forum. If you have no stress posting there in English, you will probably get a better answer there.
Anyway, I couldn't think of much use for it after all. I've tried making a VU meter for source, letting the center circle being the peak meter (Haven't had a chance to video tape it). Only 3 segments of LEDs was fun for a while but not too practical. Can you think of any usage?
Hm, I remember that my AK1 was in this mode once. The LEDs reacted to the music it was playing. It ran on Mac, but I did not program it. Don't know how to turn this on. Any idea?

@Robot0Ninja Very important part of the decision making process is the "Razzamatazz" factor. This goes for all non essential or luxury purchases.

would be sweet as a winamp plugin that reacts to the beat ;) do you think you can make that? ;)

Hi, LzI.
That does sound sweet.. Unfortunately, drivers are less open for Windows and I wouldn't know how to integrate them with Winamp.
It should be relatively easy under Linux.

No not really, it would just be fun to have it illuminate more, its boring when it just stands there, dark and un-used:P

Hi ofirlebo.
First of all, I only know how to control the LEDs under Linux. Can you use it or are you limited to Win/Mac?
