  • Man, just tonight at about 4:00 my dog started to lose his shit over these sounds, the howling is almost spot on, thanks man

  • I love coyotes!

  • did he see you?

  • I love watching animal vids that show them in the wild acting naturally, as it should be.

  • he wont be makin' much noise when theres a .308 in his ass.

  • A great book to read is "Gods Dog" by hope Ryden, published 1973, you can find it used on Amazon, or new as a reprint. I prefer the original version. Hope does an excellent bit of writing in it, it's very readable and well done, it also clears up a lot of BS like the "woolgrowers" - hunter's claims coyotes hamstring deer and kill all the game! Hope and Murie NEVER saw this in their long studies, only the wool murderers and game slaughterers, they want them for THEMSELVES.

  • @bncollector gosh calm down stupid! Kids- like me :) already know what a hunter is so calm your stupid face down -:( get over it! Everybody knows what a hunter and rancher are! Hunter-kills animals rancher a person with cows...? Whatever you need to shut up and if you don't want kids to see it just shut your mouth!

  • Omg! Coyotes have the most beautiful howl! My cat use to be a stray, she's a kitten-- Maine coon kitten- and this scared her and she rolled over by my window lol

  • @hybridcatthing Im not calling you a liar catlady but if a coyote has a chance at a cat in the open, with no fences or trees around there would be missing cats. Now im calling you a liar. Your comment about coyotes only going for livestock when wild food is short is BS, I see it all the time. I live on a farm. And they kill chickens, ducks, geese, cats, dogs, cows, goats, sheep, peacocks and yes my first horse ginger. She was old but she was mine.So remember you cant believe every study that comes along

  • @extreemairsoft True they usualy dont attack people, but there hunted because they populate fast and eat all the rabbits and other small mamels and that messes up the food chain, foxes eat rabbits to. and so do many animals. So its a population control issue. I dont like your bashing of hunting, hunting is a needed part of life. Every meat eating animal hunts. you dont yell at wolves for hunting moose or deer do you? also coyotes can be very dangerious to small children, especialy a lone one.

  • @HeartlessPuppetQueen what we need is HUMAN population control not wilflife population control!

    ONE child per couple.

  • @FurrtherMoor you may move to China at your convenience.

  • @subysuby up yours pal

  • that is coyote talk for "get over hear and fight me you panzie ass"

  • Chaddup

  • It's cute but I am a oittle afraid of them. Regardless, i am going to feed them some pork melt I bought to the cayotes in the park. They are so skinny I feel sorry for them

  • @jingye88: NEVER EVER feed wild Coyotes!! Ever!! The only time Coyotes ever attack humans is when they have been fed by people!! You create an extremely dangerous situation by doing that. Coyotes in a normal state will not attack humans, but Coyotes that associate humans with food might. The only Coyote attack on Cape Cod MA was by a Coyote that as found to have a healed broken leg, which means someone found it injured, nursed it back to health, and then let it go. NEVER FEED WILD CAINIDS!!

  • @Tigerpuffer hahahah even if they attack they wont hert that much they are same size as a big house cat lol you just kick him in the face they would run away only 3 people died from a coyote attack in tyhe history one was a 90 year old guy and the other was a 3 year old and a 14 year old girl.. if i was you i would not be that scared of them...

  • @TheJazzpro: Haha dude I am not afraid of Coyotes. They are my favorite mammal and I am fascinated by them. I have seen them in the wild twice and they were unforgettable experiences that I am in love with. But of that small number of Coyote attacks, most of those were animals that were taught to view humans as sources of food, hence being fed. I'm just trying to avoid that, and avoid damaging this amazing creature's reputation. <3 Coyotes :D

  • @Tigerpuffer cool my favorite animal too :))

  • @TheJazzpro Actually, 3 coyotes took down a 19-year-old folk singer in Canada in 2009 (Taylor Mitchell). They are wild animals regardless of their size, and they are to be taken seriously. We've got plenty of them around here, and I wouldn't mess with them. I tend to doubt they'd just "run away" with a kick in the face, if they came that damn close to you in the first place.

  • @Masiakasaurus Hey me and jazz pro are the same guy i created a new account. Well did you ever think that

500.000 people are murdered each year

900,000 die from accidents each year

maybe 2-5 millions die from ilegal drugs each year

only 3 people died from coyotes in the history, if i was you i would be more scared of people than coyotes hahaha.

i walk in the woods every day and don't even think about them.

  • Some of them are small, but when they are hungry they will stalk you and challenge you. We lived in the Adirondacks for 20 years and when food was scarce you had to be careful of them. Usually they are skittish of people, but never ever ever think you are "safe" around them. Especially if you have a dog. I know a lot of people who were stalked by them, and they can be really nasty.

  • @GhettoGuy54

They weight between 15 and 46 lb and are a meter tall, an adult human weights at least 120lb....

In a one on one encounter the human will likely win, even unarmed...

  • @icbm345 maybe, but then again, you have to also include the fact that humans have no natural weapons, where as coyotes have very sharp claws and teeth. Though I do agree, a human would win unarmed most of the time, the human would usually get badly hurt during the fight. Also, an average human weighs more than a wolf too. I would definitely say that in most fights, the wolf wins against the unarmed human.

  • @icbm345 well they would never attack us unless we prevoke it (of course their is always those times when you have a hormanaly crazy coyote and a dumb hunter who spilt "doe in heat" piss on himself.....)

  • @GhettoGuy54 they're scared of us.

  • I wonder what he or she is howling at? anybody know?

  • I seen 10 of them nagging together in the afternoon. I called them and they just stare at me. Trying to climb toward me but instead they ran off continuing to yip and nag. Cute creatures. XD

  • Care to explain where you came up with the stats that prove that hunting causing increased litter size?

And it isnt just coyotes tearing cattle up its the holes that they dig that cattle break legs in. Horses as well while going after mice and moles.

Id really like to see your info concerning hunting = larger litters.

  • Those of you freaking out over the fact that some of us hunt them need to understand that Coyotes are varmints. You know the hamburger you get from McDonalds. Well the meat that is on it comes from a cow, and do you know what? Packs of coyotes tear cows to death. They also tear up domesticated animals that live out in the country.

  • coyotes are not varmints. No animal is a "varmint", in fact, humans could be considered the varmints. But all animals are equal. I have no problem with hunting so long as the whole animal is used, I own a coyote pelt, but, I respect the animal that pelt came from.

  • you're a fucking idiot..."its absolutely beautiful" but im still gonna try and kill it.HUNTERS AND RANCHERS CAN SUCK A FAT HAIRY DICK!!!!

  • @markcball Yeah, by saying that your argument about HIM being an idiot really holds alot of weight. *rolls eyes*

  • @markcball YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR MOUTH!!!! KIDS HAVE ACCESS TO YOUTUBE ALSO!!!!! HOPEFULLY NOBODYS KIDS HAVE TO ASK THEIR PARENTS WHAT THIS GUY MEANS ABOUT HUNTERS AND RANCHERS!!!!!

  • @bncollector to hell with hunters and ranchers, BOYCOTT MEAT AND BOYCOTT WOOL and bankrupt the bastards.

  • I heard them, Coyotes can get really loud, this one was very quiet, like a whisper compared to what they can be. It is really neat to hear them.

  • I took a shot at one of these guys at the ranch the other day. Didn't hit him. Despite the fact they are fun to shoot at, they are absolutely beautiful animals, and I love to hear them howl. :)

  • Thankyou moldypanda, yes it is a shame, but unfortunately, you can't change some people.

Better to ignore and completely exclude them. We'll nickname him Nora!!

  • Why do coyotes open their mouths really big to howl?

  • that's like asking why a monkey flings their poop or why an elephant trumpets. it's nature lol

  • lol every time he screams he loses his footing that is so cute

  • @wolfsrose21 He's WAY too cute!

  • Well done ONEILLOPS, you just showed your far superior intellect and maturity.

    How about someone shoots you?

Or we just set the coyote onto you, and let it give you rabies?

    Either one, I'm fine with.

  • it's a shame that ONEILLOP's mentality stoops to that of a five-year-old. it's a pandemic in this country. =/

  • Soooo cannibalion a couple comments down.... Sounds like he gets off at the sound.... ahaa. I love coyotes by the way

  • i would shoot it.

  • wow cool

  • they scream and howl outside my window every morning! They don't even wake me up but the human noises do. It's such a wild and primal sound, it still gets my adrenaline going when I hear it.

  • thats not a coyote howling and yipping, thats a challenge howl, theres another coyote in the area he is challenging

  • @se7vnel11vn Yup, it's bark-howling for a long-distance threat. Or it's alarming others.

  • @se7vnel11vn You can almost hear him saying "Show yourself, COWARD!" =D
