Any word on the sound issue being fixed for the sega cd on XE? This was one of my favorite systems back in the day. I have an emulator on my comp and I still have the actual system as well (that still works ^^d) but would love to see this running with zerogame project without the sound issue. Just curious if might know something about this bug being fixed.
Since Linux don't have 3D hardware acceleration, will "The Zerogame Project" be able to play the 3D games that were released to SNES, and Genesis? And for genesis, is there support for 32x games, like doom, or 32x cd?
That's more a matter of the emulators used than anything else. Unfortunately with the PS3 being a PPC processor, we don't have a whole lot of choice.
SNES9x-gtk fully supports SuperFX. It's games all work fine that I've noticed.
XE, the emulator I'm using for Genesis, does not appear to support 32X, unfortunately... nor does it support any special 3d processors used in Genesis carts such as Virtua Racing.
Yea, it strongly depends on the emulator. If the emulator can use 3D hardware installed on the system it runs on, it will not be able to do so on PS3. But we all know why Sony designed it like this.
couldn't you just put the cd in the ps3?

Oh, you're so much better playing Sonic with one hand while trying to film with the other? :)

Looks good and sounds like us have the US version as well. I got this game for Xmas '92 and is still my favorite sonic game.
