  • does anybody know when or where this took place?

  • Amazing pilot!

  • wow!

such a smooth landing! Very experienced pilots indeed =)

  • CNN? Surprised they didn't blame this on Bush…

  • what airport is this at

  • "Awwwww Dammm forgot the wheels"

  • wtf thats a pro pilot

  • 9 People don't have eyes.

  • Set that aircraft down beautifully without the gear.... Nice work by the Pilot. On Centerline, props stopped and looked like he feathered 'em, probably cut the fuel too (Never seen the emergency checklist for this aircraft obviously).... Just... awesome work. That's why you always practice those emergency procedures!!!

  • The only bad part of the video was the media freaks talking. Muted it, enjoyed every second of the video.

  • Perfect!!! Congrats to the pilot!

  • What a Pilot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg not even a friction spark awsome!!

    good pilot in there!

  • Oprah W.?

    Veteran Pilot there!!

  • very, very nice i think it´s almost not dammaged

  • le pilot et vraiment tros fort

  • nice :D

  • great bot of flying

  • That's one good pilot!

He did a perfect job, but it's very common for people not related with aviation to exagarate the pilot's work. He TRAINED lots of hours in order to be ready for these kind of emergencies. He solved the emergency PERFECTLY, but he is not god.

  • what year was this?

  • good pilot good job

  • It's even better than those landings with wheels.

  • Wow that was a beautiful landing i loved it!

  • i would have died

  • Any landing you can walk away from is a good one......GREAT landing. Couldnt have been better!!

  • nice job

  • Great Job...I am a pilot..don't think I cud have done better!!

  • awesome landing, great pilot

  • amazing

  • The commentary is innane, but the landing was made of win.

  • WOW AWESOME PILOT!

  • With skills like that, he should be a pilot! :P

  • Thats what I call a f......ing good pilot!Good job man who ever you are!

  • This is a Text book gear up landing, right down the center line, pilot was on the top of his game, I remember watching this live on TV. The pilot flew the AIRCRAFT not the problem

  • wow, it is a perfect landing

  • that landing looked smoother than some gear down landings ive seen!

  • u got a point ther man, a very good one :D

  • wow, its gliding !!

  • did it crash land because the wheels wouldnt come out?

    very smooth landing.

  • So I think nearly all of us agree, those presenters are annoying, havn't really got a clue, and ruined this great clip by the way they went on.....lol

  • Very smart landing

  • Honestly pilots like thatone make you actually feel safe when you're traveling. People aren't perfect but some pilots are damn near close to perfection :p

  • Incredible.

  • That stupid presenter, is he a pilot, i don't fuc**ng think so, his crappy commentary ruined a great clip!

  • he used wikipedia for the info! :D

  • I'm used to the media not understanding a topic, but that commentary was almost painful to listen to. Yeah, it would've been better for him to say nothing, lol

  • very nice

  • it was a wonderful skill.. but lucky, wind is calm.. no cross wind, sky is clear and runway is long enough.

  • that guy needs to shut the fuck up. "hold it, hold it, hold it" like he is flying the plane. would have been nice to watch in silence.

    very nice by the way

  • Why puting wheels on planes? :D

  • annoying female reporter interrupting all the time

  • shes so dumb

  • Vittore3.......appreciate your comment, but you ingeniously mispelt genious........genius is the correct spelling in the non plural form

  • genious

  • That was an Amazing landing! I agree it should go in training videos.

  • That guy reporting is annoying as hell!

  • yea agreed. he keeps saying "hold it, hold it, hold it" he sounds like peter griffin from one episode. but great piloting, though.

  • By the book. No, it's even better than that.

  • What a landing :o

  • Really Impressed. Well done.

  • WOW!!! 1 wrong move and they would be gonzo

but that was purfect. incredible piloting

  • Awesome landing, even better than those normal ones.

  • awesome good landing, give him a space shuttle, he can pilot it :)

  • heck yea he can

  • Good pilot! 5 stars!

  • good landing...

I guess that pilot could be or is a neurosurgeon.

  • Thats sime great Piloting right there

  • very nice landing... that was a very experienced pilot...

  • Wow!! He never left the center line. He landed that better with no gear then some pilots do with the gear down. Excellent job!

  • I hope he had insurance.

  • That is THEE pilot. Jesus, that was a huge nice work. My congratulations to the pilot. Beautiful job.

  • Who needs wheels?

  • "duh..did he had wheels??" you illiterate fuck, no he didnt have landing gear down to land on, dip shit

  • duh you are an idiot!

  • Lpkiller8

The sheer amount of stupidity in your comment merits a thumbs up.

  • what an awesome landing.. right down the middle- so slow and level.

    amazing!

  • Salute to the pilot!

  • It's a double edge sword shutting the engines down on a gear up landing. If the engines have been stopped and a prop blade is at it's lowest point in the rotation, the first point of impact is going to be that downward blade, which would cause the aircraft to roll to the right/left, not safe @ 5ft AGL. In Australia correct procedure is to shut off fuel to the engines just prior to the flare but keep it idling with the props at full coarse (they will bend nicely upon contact with the ground.

  • that pilot knows his shit.

  • Which plane is that, some kind of Beechcraft?

  • Beechcraft 300

  • No, it is a King Air C90. The 300 has a "T tail."

  • Nope, it's a King Air 100

  • Amazing landing

  • very good landing.

  • well done to the pilot he made a great job of landing that plane

  • the pilot did a wonderfull job by landing that plane

  • I'm a student pilot ( almost private), and I showed this to my flight instructor, he told me that this guy must really have a good in depth knowledge of aerodynamics to make it that smooth.

  • that guy is some pilot well done

  • Amazing bet he barely scratched the paint Exceptional pilot

  • Oh he scratched it... No doubt.

  • thank you all for praising my efforts to land it safely,i thought i wont make it but finally it was ok.

  • Amazing.. are you the actual pilot of that plane? if so well done man!

  • If he's the pilot, I'd hate to see all the typos on his flight plans and his logbooks.

  • LOL

    good landing anyways.

  • haha good call!

  • Great trained pilot..

  • Good landing, Amazing stuff glad to see no one got hurt.

  • That's an incredible landing. The ammouncer guy is completely wrong about the engines

  • "Feathering" the props do not stop the engine, bloody announcer. It coarsens the blades so that they are alligned with the forward direction of flight. This reduces the drag significantly. This action is done in the event of an engine failure, or in this case a crash landing.

  • Though, great landing.. it's what every pilot trains for but hopfully never experiences

  • Better to have it and never need it than to need it and never have it. Righto? Cheers!

  • When it's done right, every landing is a beautiful thing, whether it's an emergency or not.

  • Give that man a medal!!

  • incredible.

  • Amazing landing, anyone know the weather conditions when this happened? Was amazing how he didnt damage the elevators by going for stall speed, im guessing he's done this before! His pitch was picture perfect!

  • Look the guy coming with his stuff !!!! Instead of leaving the plane running ..... Funny. Good pìlot, like me.

  • just like me

  • beautiful! great pilot

  • Hat off...

  • have you seen walker texes rangers?

  • It was Chuck Norris flying

  • Beautiful!!

  • Good!!The king air had lots o f problems like this one!

  • poop and milk

  • What an amazing landing. Incredible.

  • best emergency landing ever!

  • incredible pilot...I agree

  • WOW! That's really really impressive!

  • I wanna buy that pilot xD

At first i thouhgt that was a RC plane. It looked so small!!

  • hehe it's really not an RC :) I think it's an beechcraft king air (?) : /

  • cool, i wanted a wing to fly off or something rad like that but of well

    congrats to those dudes

  • pilot clearly showboating by not putting down the landing gear

  • they were damaged!!

  • BRAVO! like the guy said... textbook. we had a twin commander perform the same procedure, did more damage to that tho since the wings are mounted on top of the fuselage.

  • NICE LANDING

  • this pilot is Number # 1

  • thats redundant!

    But true!!

    He's Number # 1!! haha

  • WOW. that was amazing

  • congratulations for pilots. very good job!

  • That was a very nice emergence landing

  • NICE LANDING very good

  • That pilot is amazingly precise and accurate. He should be in the red arrows.

  • yeah!

  • Yes sir, He is

  • The Red Arrows usually land with gear down!

  • no they don't.

  • That was the most amazing landing ever

  • wow i wouldnt mind having that pilot taking me on holiday. i know i would be safe with him.

  • GJ man......amazing skill

  • search freak landing or fazzamalla and watch my vid and favourite it plzzz

    nice vid this 1

    cheers

  • freak pilot wat a champion

  • incredible pilot

  • Yep, we don't know what happend. Maybe he forgot to put his gear down. Either way, it is incredible

  • I salute that pilot

  • That is a awesome landing. I mean without landing gear. LOL!!!

  • he don't even needs tire

  • pilots who have to acually put their lives on the line every day. my hats are off to themm, when the reality of this occures. these are some the bravist men and woman in the woeld

  • hats off to the pilot

  • Wow! I hope someone bought that pilot a beer!

  • amazing pilot three cheers

  • That was brilliant!

  • amazing job!

  • i salute this pilot.... that landing w/o landing gears are very hard..

  • I saw this live and i was very relived

  • i was driving

  • perfect pilot !!!

    congartulations ..

  • good landing very nice pilot

  • I hate it when reporters go on about shit they don't know about. Landing dead stick isn't much different from a normal landing. It was good work to remember to shutdown the props but the rest is a normal touchdown.

  • He done that amazingly. WELL DONE!

  • pilot handles it well

  • Did the pilot turned off the engines before landing?

    It isn't clear...

Landing a prop-plane without gears while the engines are running is damn dangerous!

  • Yes he did, listen to the dialoug

  • Yes i turned it off...

  • tordenkylling100, stfu, you know shit about airplanes.

  • Damn thats some awesome work by the pilot to get her down safely

  • tordenkylling100, I don't know what you are thinking. My uncle works for the American Airlines maintenance division for the MD-80s. They absolutely do not second think about a plane landing on its belly without gear. If you don't know this, when they design planes, they build them based on different emergency scenarios.

  • tordenkylling100, I am guessing float planes land on the water with there gear down right? You are a giant douchebag.

  • Gear up, gear down - who cares as long as everyone got out safe

  • i was in an inncident like that except it was in a learjet 45 my uncle owned hydralics cut out and we did a gear up landing we had 55ft of runway left it was scary!!!!!!

  • Why didn't he manualy lower the gear? Sounds like bullshit to me!!

  • the pilot spent an hour trying to manually lower the gear. I was there and I know the air traffic controllers who talked to him.

  • As a an A&P I would like to know more about this. Can you please point me towards the NTSB link for this incident or the Lear 45's tail no?

  • I wasn't there for the lear 45. I witnessed the king air landing. I am but a line tech, no a&p. I only know what I saw and heard from my friends in the tower and I heard the conversation on the arinc.

  • It was your uncles 25 million dollar lear 45 and you don't know the tail number??

  • You can find it by Date, Location, Name, ECT.. Not sure if you've found this or not.

  • I am amazed because he set down level not in a nose high attitude. he must have not slowed down to stall speed. He came in low and used ground effect to "float" onto the runway. I like how he remembered to feather the props and kill the engines, my mind would have been elsewhere. He kept perfect centerline too with the rudder. He passes his Checkride

  • wow that was amazing!!! my respects for the pilot.

  • A very nice landing indeed, but not as fantastic as some would believe. With gear up the airplane will sit down very softly due to ground effect. Not taking anything away from the pilot, but the airplane is designed to land on it's belly in a gear up situation. Gear up landings happen all the time, some completely unintentional
