  • Angel's recordings of this and other works during the mid 70s to late 80s are masterpieces of expression & virtuosity on the guitar.

  • the best arrangement of Canarios.

  • Excellent, simply excellent.

  • wonderful playing^^i love it^^thank you for the nice concert^^5*****5

Gracias.

  • A esto senores se llama tocar la guitarra!, Now This is playing the guitar! desde ya en mi lista de favoritos, gracias Maestro!

  • Wow. My new favorite performance of Canarios.

  • @dueckrandy Me, too!

Davvero complimenti.

  • Awesome performance!

  • the best version i've ever heard! knocks john william's into a cocked hat! Vamonos!!!!!

  • This song is so beautiful it makes me almost want to cry its so good. Angel Romero is everything I wish I could be as a guitarist.

  • great :D I even can't play it in the half tempo :D

  • WOW ! Fantastic !

  • ganpar

  • In my earlier comment I mistakenly assumed that this the guitarist was Narisco Yepes. I realized my error posting the comment. Mr Yepes has a comparable version that is on the Baroque CD (a great collection of baroque pieces played by masters - a must if you like classical guitar). By far this rendition by AR is the best I have heard or seen - truly brings out the rythms underling the dance

  • N.Yepes is terrific also! He played a ten stringed guitar.

  • Parabens!!!

    muito bom mesmo

    abraço

  • I watched this 6 months ago for the first time and was dumb-struck, it's fabulous. I spent another 4 weeks trying to find this arrangement which I can now play, but A LOT slower.

Check out Malaguena by 3 of the Romeros - teriffic.

  • where did you find the arragement?

  • Gaspar Sanz - Suite Espanola, arrangement by Narciso Yepes.

    book number - UMG21354.

I ordered this in London, but it's available world-wide.

    Enjoy.

  • It's Gaspar Sanz. Why call it Ganpar?

  • WOW! this is fab! love spanish music. no way to this standard or extreme tempo! i hope me being eleven at grade six, i hope one day i could play like that.......

  • i dont't know what grade im in (maybe in 1 or 2) but i play layenda... just for fun.. you got the skills why don't you try it out??

  • All of the Romeros are skilled, but I'm not sure I liked the extreme tempo..it's a nice piece though

  • Nothing wrong with liking a different version better then this one :)

  • Played exceedingly well. A fantastic piece of music.

  • Great! This is the best guitar melody i've ever heard!! ;)

  • this piece wasnt written for classical gutar...either so fast!

    but still very good!

...just you need a vihuela :-) to get the right sound!

  • Wonderful!!!! My absolute favorite piece for the guitar. Its amazing that this suite was the very first ever written for the guitar as a solo instrament. Absolutly gorgeous and powerful. very difficult to play well. bravo Angelito.

  • I love Angel Romero's playing so much. He seems to put so much life into everything.

  • there's people who play like robots, and then there is segovia and hendrix

  • perfect as always.

  • This perhaps faster than what Gaspar Sanz had in mind when he composed this piece. But it is so entertaining! Bravissimo!

  • There's a typo in the composer's name above;

    it's Gaspar not Ganpar...

but a nice version of the piece.

  • He awsome i play this part of Spanish suite xD

    but don't in this tempo

  • GREAT RENDITION !!!

  • incredibly beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

  • esa cancion sta genial... nose cm memoriso tantos ligados hoppp!!

  • Bravo!! 5*

    Respect,

    Stephen

  • That was beautiful. I'm learning this song but a different and possibly easier version ;)

  • I'm going to take a 2 week vacation...then quit!

  • Im learning this song, but after watching Angel, I think I'm going to take up stamp collecting

  • very elegant i must say

  • Unreal.

  • sir whats the hurry? awesome

  • You can see he loves every minute he's playing, and it comes out in his playing. Great to see.

  • he made canarios sounds more live compare to others.

  • This is superb. You can see him smiling as he's playing. He obviously loves the music and he plays it with typical Romero panache, verve and humanity. Magnifico!

  • Great!!! BRAVOOOOO!

  • AWESOME

  • i've never heard it played so fast :S

  • go Angel go...

  • süpeeeeeeer

  • I liked Angel better....his left front tooth is shinier that Pepe's. Angel doesn't blink his eyes either. Is that a guitar he's holding? Is the name, Tarrega the name of a sandwich at Taco Bell? Do the Romeros know Teddy Nugent?

  • HO!! MEN IS REALLY GOOD

  • Increíble, se sale la guitarra clásica

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting! :)

  • I always liked Angel better than Pepe for some reason.

He seems more relaxed and mellow...
