I remember the first time I saw this video in the 90s, I was struck by its beauty. I'm not surprised that it is still compelling today and easily withstanding the test of time. Visually few during that time could arguably match this video's artistry. I read at the time the video was shot in black and white and then painstakingly colored frame by frame. It is no doubt a masterpiece and illustrates Madonna's talent, artistic scope and mastery of this medium.
