Just another reason why dumb-ass manufactures of these devices should make them with an easily replaceable battery. I hate the fucking shuffle, so I purchased an MP3 player that takes one AAA battery and it works great; RCA Lyra. It also has an SD card slot for quickly changing tons of music.

RCA Lyra, great little device. yes, i hate the shuffle too, as it was an apple device, thought it would be great. well, it was till the feckin battery died and would cost just as much to repair as to replace. much more out there for your money that does not say apple.
