that drummer is ruining the song he's playing too loud ... a good drummer knows how to play subtle, the keyboard needs to be louder, and the drummer needs to be less loud ... nice song, though
Otro latino por aca.The lighting seeds de mis favoritos.Me gusta oirlos haciendo cardio en el gimnasio.Casi todos los dias.Life`s too short mi preferida.Y arriba el norte.Ajua.
This song is so relaxing and theraputic. Although, when im coming out of work and i have it in the car, I get the urge to crash and plow into my neighbor in "pure" violence.
sorry, i think this cover version is poor, your not carring the chorus on for as long as the lead singer of LS does and your dropping your voice when you should be reaching a few notes higher.
You gave a critique on how this song should have been performed to be more like the Lightning Seeds... um, that IS the Lightning Seeds. Not sure Ian Broudie needs your help.
Tart, it's always going to sound a little different live. Some will sound a very close to the studio version (Cranberries, for example), and others not as much. But it is actually the Lightning Seeds.
Song Came out in '89. I bought the LP the minute I heard this on KROQ Los angeles.......This guy used to be back up vocalist for Ian MCcullloch/Echo and the Bunnymen!! AWESOME!!! BAND!! Log live The 80's...
I remember seeing the video for this on TOTP many moons ago - a beautiful song. Ian Brodie has done some great work, including producing the Echo and the Bunnymen album "Porcupine" during the 80s

When you think, this chap produced the first Bunnymen album in 1980. He must be about 92 now.

Though pure and simple these vocals are most demanding. Ian's tight!

Oh God, there's a real copy in spanish from Mikel Erentxun called "uno mas uno son siete". It's a total copy of this song.
