Is there any more footage of Jodeci recording in the studio? Because I've been studying music and if anyone knows music their harmony is untouchable, I mean 2 half chords (Devante & Dalvin) and 2 whole chords (K-Ci & JoJo) that's extremely hard to do.

You can soo tell these brothers grew up in church. Especially Devante on the piano- just the music he's playing sounds gospel! I love them even more after seeing this:-)
Devante is a prue muscial genius he was way before his time nobody in this era had music like this and when I listen to it now I'm like WOW! Devante get the help you need and turn your life around
I don't see why they just can't get together and go ahead and record another album. They left at the top of their game. The public never got tired of them like they do with some artist. Neither set of brothers are really doing anything worth while. Devante isn't even producing any of the top artist of today (I always thought he'd be working with or without Jodeci). @nik9999 You're right, the personality of the voice and the material covered is definitely a factor. I wasn't saying you shouldn't be a big fan, of course. I'm a fan of both Jodeci AND Boyz II Men. For me, these two groups pretty much defined R&B for the 90's. Riff, ("My Heart Is Failing Me") deserves an honerable mention, though along with them since they were before both groups. But yeah, K-Ci is not to be messed with. Sisqo of Dru Hill, an obvious fan of K-Ci's, is a great vocalist too.

@jon76398 I believe they were laughing at the irony of how De' Vante first says "Don't believe everything you read in the media" and then he says "You heard I got robbed... That's true". So while he was saying don't believe what you hear, the news about him getting robbed is,however, true. He even smiled but they are probably able to make light of it since it was in the past and De' Vante still has his life and nothing serious happened to him.

LOL they are sooo down to earth!!! they seem like really cool people to chill with... and i really wish that i was in that studio with them when they were recording just to watch because to me, that alone is just brilliance and don't get me started on devante. not only is he very very VERY handsome man, he is also a musical genious too...you can tell just by way he acts when he's working in the studio....where did talent go? *sighs* i'm truly convinced the days were much better back then...
Watch Devonte's hand positioning when he plays. His vertical, on-top-of-the-keys feel of hitting the chords is VERY akin to jazz pianists like Thelonious Monk. Monk's style of playing was very angular and detached, but he still managed to create beautiful lines and progressions in his playing. Influence is influence!

@rashmivk (cont.) they never did any drugs [like cocaine, and things of that nature] but they DID smoke and drink and they even said this out of their mouths but they are getting clean and releasing their album sometime soon that's been on hold for years.

@rashmivk Them (and Devante) being your "favourite" is 1 thing, but you can't base that on them being "the best of all time" and "the best ever". Jodeci are one of my absolute favorite R&B groups. As far as an R&B "boy band" (a term that applies to "vocal groups") goes, Jodeci loses top honors to Boyz II Men and Take 6.

This is amazing.Jodeci-my favourite & the best RNB boy band of all time...and Devante Swing greatest producer/writer ever. Hope these guys get it together & ditch the drugs-would be such a waste to lose such talent...

@rashmivk (cont.) they never did any drugs [like cocaine, and things of that nature] but they DID smoke and drink and they even said this out of their mouths but they are getting clean and releasing their album sometime soon that's been on hold for years.

@rashmivk Them (and Devante) being your "favourite" is 1 thing, but you can't base that on them being "the best of all time" and "the best ever". Jodeci are one of my absolute favorite R&B groups. As far as an R&B "boy band" (a term that applies to "vocal groups") goes, Jodeci loses top honors to Boyz II Men and Take 6.
