David Cook stood up just to show respect. Because way before natasha actually went to Archu, he was looking at archu's direction. Thus showing that he knew that Natasha was going to Archu and not him

Cook didn't think that; David has gone on about how much he loves Natasha, and you can see that Cook is clapping and turning towards the other David, duh. He just so happened to be the first one to stand up. It's just respectful to do so.
