  • LOL ... I feel a lot of lower back pain when trying to execute this exercise... also squats in general agravates the pain.. I wonder what would be the safest, closest replacing exercise to squats, if there is any LOL cheers thanks for your videos!!

  • @AlemaospBrasil You want to identify what is the root cause of your back pain. Is it the compression? If so, dumbbells would be better than a bar. Is it the hyperextended position of the back? If so, leg press machines might allow you to work around things. Step-ups might not irritate your back as much, but I don't know. But a 1-leg squat with the back leg elevated WILL cause your back to be (hyper)extended more than other lower body lifts.
