Not like I mean to be a hater... good animation.. but I just see too many "borrowed" moments from the movie. And the parts that weren't needed a LOT of work... not bad, but did NOT look like Ariel. The nose was quite the honker!

:34 looked either from 'Part of Your World' when Ariel says "I want more", or when she first enters Ursula's Lair..

:42 Had to be when she was on the boat at "Kiss the Girl", when she first got legs, when she smiles at the dinner table, etc. Hrm.

@ceddin515 I can't draw her perfectly I was not dissing this because honestly it is very good just giving constructive critisim. I do enjoy this they did very good, but the hair seemed stiff and the shading could have made it even more amazing thats it. lol. So sorry to say this but i'm in an art school. Trust me I know how hard it is to draw Ariel and to animate.

Great start!

Be careful of the 180 rule. You had her facing screen right then it cut to her facing screen left then back to screen right.Just flip the image at 0:32 or have the camera spin around her or something. Less confusing :)

as an artist, i can fully understand why you got the letter. Disney is insanely protective of their characters. A daycare near me had mickey, Minnie, Donald, goofy, and ariel and belle painted on the side of their buildings. They god a cease and desist notice, threatening legal action if they did not paint over the mural. You just can't use other people's characters without their permission plain and simple.
