Comparisions between Exilia and Guano Apes insult both bands. the bands have similar engery (much more than most, generic, bands) but the singers voices are highly distinct. I mean really can't people notice the difference between a German accent and an Italian one? & the Apes style with musical effects is more varied than ANYTHING, unique. Exilia is angstier.

Guano Apes were hard rock with some crossover elements (hardcore - grunge, funk, rap style etc) - so they were alternative rock by the way, however in some songs Sandra's intense vocals and groovies of bass player make their music sound more metalish. In the beginning of their careare they made mix of grunge and funk rock. Exilia is Nu Metal however they sound like grunge but less depressive than Nirvana and harder, in some songs they use progressive rock elements
