just seen that just hurts see them kids have go thew that pain ..my son is mrdd and my brother is and i work with mrdd kids and just see that is sad and the ones that work there i call that lazy they should put clothes on them and played love them ...that is soo sad look at and see

I'm 14 and I work in a room every other day with specal needs kids and. This is just to bad I mean if ur gonna keep kids in liveing conditions like this. It's just wrong. I'm glad they shut this god forsaken hellhole they call willowbrooke

@ThatGuyWhoDosentcamp The world needs more young people like you. When I was in high school, late nineties, I worked during my study hall with the kids in the multiple disabilities room. Years later, I worked as an educational aide with children with special needs. I am proud to say I am a mother of a middle school son who has great compassion for these children as well, and makes sure to say hello and to help those children he sees having troubles. Everyone deserves to be loved.

I work with people that have disabilities. I have seen clips of the Willowbrook institute plenty of times.. I am so glad that the institutes are shut down. it breaks my heart to see what the individuals went through.

That's not Willowbrook. That's Letchworth Village in Rockland County (MU Cottage, I think). Geraldo investigated both institutions.
