soul calibur III have a lot of custom parts and you have upper lower and armor parts you can custom at your will, but you was limited an how manny parst you can change the colors, and SCIV is the contrary you can custom almost all colors and the clothes and armor but this time we was limited and the parts of the boddy we can custom, i just hope SCV can be like III and IV togeter i know they improbe but how much freedom we gonna have

@Kouga09 Looking at the character creation trailer for SCV it looks like you will be able to color virtually everything. What's more, if you watch the trailer closely you will see that they have all the item tabs from SC3 and more. And the fandom rejoiced!

@CopyRezo36 yeah the character creation for SCV looks perfect, u can create anything u want and they have a tun of weapons the only thing that would make it flawless is if they give us like 20 different fighting styles aside from the main cast (crosses fingers) c'mon if SC3 did it SCV should do it as well. if not, well at least talim's and seong mina's weapons+styles will be in the character creator.

@DSN107 Really happy about what I see in the character creator but not for the available characters/fighting styles. Apart from all the old characters who won't be returning, it would seem the only character creation specific fighting style is one copied over from Tekken (a video I watched vaguely mentioned there might be 1 or 2 unique fighting styles). Why can't they just add more content instead of replacing and removing? D:

@1992DisturbeD Ive gotten some equipment by participating in some online battles, or by unlocking honors, or by completing the game with every character (unlocking them too). Tower of lost souls is where you get most of the goodies tho. The ulternative is by unlocking honors. View them in the extras tab i think...

@superepicproportions Tip? : Go to IGN. com and view cheats/Unlockables for SC4 type it in the search bar. It will give you a full list of items and unlocking requirements to fufill in tower of lost souls.

I think that's because you have also modified characters from story mode. this is considered as a character creation

@MrxxNightmare The maximum limit of created chars is 50. That also means that any REAL characters customized counts as a slot. So check that out, otherwise i dunno what to tellya.

One of the things I don't like about Sc4's creation system compared to sc3's creation system is that the articles affect your character's stats. So If there's a piece you really like cuz it looks bad ass, but it makes your stats really suck, you either have to deal with having a setback or choose something retarded-looking instead.

All of those Items HAVE to be downloadable content cause I have none of them and yet have 46 Honors unlocked and all the other equipment. Great video although it makes me sad some of the cooler stuff is limited DLC and whatnot. Soul Calibur III may not look as good as IV but it had tons more items to choose from.

@Akumaxikimono : The easiest way is to keep playing story mode and earning more gold. Eventually the Voodoo armor will be available to purchase. The same goes for the Leviathan armor set for the male characters. Some of the conditions to unlock equipment through the Tower of Lost Souls are hard as hell to meet.

@chisenone If you earn enough gold you can buy all of the equipment. Otherwise playing through Tower of Lost Souls will get you different pieces of gear if you meet certain conditions on each floor. Some of those are hard to do. I found it easier to just keep playing story mode and earning gold and buying everything.

@darkspirtninja Depends on the part, there are some where you can change all the colors whereas others are more limited ala SCIII CaS.

And for those who keep asking on how to unlock parts, just play and unlock the in-game honors. I believe 30 will get you all part besides the exclusive DLC ones.

@Toutostar : If you have all of the voodoo equipment, you can put it on a female character as one of the Warrior sets and you will have a totally ass-kicking fighter! I think it's Warrior 3 if I remember correctly. I made a female fighter using Seigfried's style, and used the Final Form of Soul Calibur as the weapon. This chick is unstoppable!

I have broken destiny most of it is the same as this but you also unlock new stuff in broken destiny which means that in BD there is more character creation parts. BUT! In BD you can NOT change the character's body type or proportion.

Jack-o-lantern is a DLC. You have to pay for it and you'll get frilled shirt too I believe. You're techniquely also missing the Santa clothes too. They are DLC aswell. It comes with Santa hat, Santa coat, Santa pants, and Santa boots.

Things like the White Brim, Feminine Blouse, Goddess Blessing, Sailor Shirt, Knit Vest, & Blazer are limited edition DLC. It only came with the limited edition of Soul Calibur IV.
