  • Clarissa had like 10 colored pairs of Doctor Marten Boots I was so jealous in 5th grade! Finally got the Cherry red leather ones (now vintage) and am happily wearing them as I type ;)

  • Old school nick and Old school Cartoon network was the shit. Even now I remember coming home from school and waiting till rocket power or doug came on. I always was a What would you do and Wild and crazy kids.

    Born in 87

  • 1987 ftw

  • You are just a bit too young to remember the REALLY good stuff on Nickelodeon; Out of Control with Dave Coullier and You Can't Do That On Television was also amazing if you were kid in the 80s and remember the 80's. And then it was Dick Van Dyke, My Three Sons, Mr. Ed and Patty Duke at night! It was awesome!

  • I know that but we are talking mostly about the 90's nick era. I do remember Mr.ed but I never really cared for him tho a talking horse is hilarious on its own.

  • I know that but we are talking mostly about the 90's nick era. I do remember Mr.ed but I never really cared for him tho a talking horse is hilarious on its own.Just remember that some of these shows from the 90's started in the very late 80's

  • HIS NAME WAS FURGESON. i always thought that was funny when i was a kid.

  • born in 98 baby. i miss the 90s so much. my brother was born in 95 so i know about all the 90s. if i had a chance to go back, i would :) . i miss jungle force power rangers!!! whos with me?? 90s rule!!

  • @SkodaExpress if you were born in 1998 you were only 3 when the wtc 'sploded. how could you even dare try to say you remember this show? please tell me this was a typo. do you even know what a powerpuff girl is?

  • The dad is always in commercials now

  • i loved clarissa (: i loved how sam use to always climb up her window. and her funky phone

  • well i grew up through all of the 90's and also the early 2000's and i can say that the 90's were the best times ever. everyone was chill and at peace. not to mention we were way fucking cooler. i really dont know what happened when the 2000's hit, but we devolved into a pile of misery and hate.

  • Sad but true.

  • I was like 4 when this show was on TV. 15 years later I have a friend who has the show on DVD and she let me borrow it. I really like it.

  • to skoda: in order to a 90s kid you have to be born in the early part of the 80s..if u were a tru 90s kid... you could remember the original line up of SNICK...who remember what SNICK means??

  • @Abaybayac Saturday Night Nick. Clarissa, Roundhouse, Ren and Stimpy, and Are You Afraid of the Dark?

I was a senior in high school. I only remember this because I was all about Ren and Stimpy at the time, and that's how they promoted the new episodes.

  • i was born in 1991 and i remember snick.

  • wow thanks i forgot about this show i watched it all the time

  • Some how I remember this theme song being WAY cooler than it really is. *favorite show as a kid*

  • I agree. People who were born in '98 ( I was born in '87 btw) wouldnt even REMEMBER any of these shows. Im very lucky to have grown up watching the best live/cartoon shows. 90s Nick Owns

  • BAD MEMORYS

  • Born In Aug Of 1986! I miss the 90's!

  • The 90s was the best decade because entertainment technology was just starting to blossom. Video games were cool but didn't run kids lives like it does now with Xbox Live and all that. Also, the music was alot more varied than previous decades.

I miss Tamagotchis, original Pokemon, kids shows that weren't focused on sex all the time, N64 and Gameboy, most of the music, and making fun of Hansen and Spice Girls with my friends.

  • love this show!

  • Wow I was lucky to experience shows like this and Are You Afraid Of The Dark? being born in 1986. Good time good time!!! 90's forever!!!!

  • I WANT THE 90S SO BAD RIGHT NOW! i was watching as told by ginger and it jus makes me miss the 90s so much. born in 1998 baby. born and raised haha!

  • I watch Clarissa and Kenan & Kel here on Brazil! Its really good i watch every day! Kenan & Kel is on 10 p.m. and and Clarissa, one day is on 11 p.m., another day is on 2 a.m.

  • People call chicks today slutty, but look at that outfit. I'd hit it so hard it'd pop back up in 2010, fuck man, I wish I had a ladder into her window.

  • @skodaexpress

and you're only in 6th grade or 7th. don't you were dont even remember Y2K. i mean you lived it. but dont remember it.

dont get me wrong your a 90's kid but cant say the 90's were the best time of your life. after '95 MMMAYYBEE '96 you can remember the 90's.

but you dont even remember the 9-11 attacks. if you remember that

or even Y2K then you could be a 90's kid.

  • Skoda: none of that shit came out in the 90s. You were born in 98. You're not a 90s kid. Fuck off.

  • 98 does not make you a 90's kid. You can't remember anything that came out in your first two years which makes you a nouties kid. Sorry but it's true.

  • I agree. A kid born in 1998 wasn't even around for all the great 90's stuff--boy bands (okay, great to some), Furbies, Tickle me Elmo, Nanopets. Everything that makes the 90's the 90's. :)

  • holy shit, people were actually born in '98? skoda, get back in the womb where you belong.

  • I watch this show in my country Brazil! in Nick at Nite

  • I definitely had a crush on Sam.

  • I KNO RIGHT!!!!

  • ME TOO!!!

  • i wanna live back in time to experience the 90s once more. i was born in 1998 and those were the best years of my life. life was so simple. I MISS THE 90S!!!

  • lol you didnt even have the 90's! you cant miss it when you were 2. it was much better tho.

  • @SkodaExpress I was born in '85, the 90s were simply the best yrs. A simple time, when kids were actually innocent, 6 week summer holidays last 6 bloody yrs! And summer actually occured, no pissin down all June/July

    ;'(

  • Lol, skoda is just fucking with all of you on here. Its pretty funny how pissed some of you are getting.

  • nostalgia attack!!

  • born in 98 baby, i miss watching jungle force power rangers! who remembers that? I want the 90s! 90s rule!

  • Fail, born in 98 does not make you a 90s baby.

  • @SkodaExpress what 98 u grow up in the 2000's u dont even know the 90's like i did xD

  • i was born in 92. But for whats its worth i never went outside lol. I remember watching the very first episode of angry beavers! and spongebob!

  • fairly odd parents ARE NOT 90s......BORN 91 ...THIS OLD SCHOOL funky nick nick nick nick ninick nick nick NICKELODEON shit is whats gooood

  • i was born 1990, and the earliest nick cartoons i remember were rugrats, ren and stimpy, rocko's modern life, little bear, uhh lots actually xD

i AM a 90's kid because i totally KNOW that the 90's was the best time for cartoons, anime, and music! but since i was born 1990, i also fondly enjoyed 2000-2001 too ^^ then it ended T-T

  • Now THIS is the REAL Nickelodeon that I remember. I liked the cartoons of coarse. But this, Salute your Shorts, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Welcome Freshmen, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Fifteen were break-out shows for kids. All the B.S. Nick shows of today (excluding SpongeBob) should take notes from these REAL shows.

  • more power to you same here

  • 98? Hell now you're not a 90s kids. i was born in 88.

  • You're not a 90's kid. I was born in '89 but that doesn't mean I'm an 80's kid lol!

  • nah nah nah nah nah nah nah, way cool.

  • I AM A 90S KID. Born in January 1989 ! I remember Clarissa Explains It All , The Adventures of Alex Mack, Pete &Pete, The ORIGINAL Doug, Hey Arnold ! , My Brother &Me, You Can't Do That On Television, Roundhouse, The original All That, Kenan &Kel, hmmm wat else.. oh even tha Nick Jr shit.. Maya The Bee, David the Gnome ! oh yea & Rocko's Modern Life, the original Rugrats (before Dill SMH), Ahh ! Real Monsters, Salute Your Shorts.... the list goes on & on.

  • Sorry, the cutoff was 1985. You don't remember half the 90s, so you don't count.

  • WHAT?! That's bullshit! I was born in '89 and I remember '93 and up!

  • 85? I was born in 88.

  • CORRECT!

  • Youre WACK . i kno wat i remember... i remember 93 and up , just like Philalol . get ya old ass on .

  • @MysteryGyrl89

Yes to '89 babies! I was October '89!

  • i miss the 90s so much and i want a time machine! lol. who misses jungle force power rangers? i do! :)

    98 baby!

  • Clarissa Explains It All Season 1 DVD

  • I thought Clarissa was so hot lol

  • the hell? By the time 98 was there tv was already heading toward the shitter in shitty programing. Gay ass oddparents were the beginning of it.

The real 90's was all the old shit. The real cartoons that weren't designed to make you a fucking retarded vegetable.

They were designed to make you a lazy vegetable god damn it!!

  • i did live in the 90s, born in 98 and miss them very much. best times of my life. and yes i know what the power rangers are. i use to love watching power rangers jungle force :)

  • nah you're no 90s kid. you lived 2 yrs in the 90s that's nothing. if you are born in '88-'95 id say you would be.

  • actually about '86-'95

  • i was born august 6th 1995 i lived on sabrina, sesame street all that stuff they dont show now until spongebob came out then the whole crap cartoon thing in the millenium came out

  • I think the cut off point would be '92-'93.

  • your a millenuim kid, what you have said about your self being a 90's kid was a total fail

  • @SkodaExpress you were born in the 90's but you didnt really live in them. do you remember donkey kong for snes coming out? no. do you remember the series premiere of power rangers? no.

the fairly odd parents are terrible.

  • Are you serious. Born in 98. You weren't even 2 years old when the 90's ended. You didn't live in them. 90's kids are the kids usually born in the 80's.

  • i remember when much older cartoons cameout. you fail at being a 90s kid. im a late 90s kid born in 1991.

  • this was my shiiiiiiit!!! lol it's so cheasy now

  • @isaiahcansang ur funny...i was born in 86 and i'm consider a 90's kid

  • As and African American Male born in 1991, I have absolute no shame in saying that i enjoyed this show!!! hahahaha

  • Ah, I love the feeling of nostalgia. Man I miss the 90's so much.

  • 90s kids rule!

  • if you were one

  • this show was great. i really liked whenever sam came into clarissa's room with the ladder, they would play that guitar chord...good shit right there.

  • @j6282 That guitar bit MADE those scenes so nostalgic when i see them now

  • mongo pusher lol

  • i was born in 1990! i remember watching all this nickelodeon shows...

    Good ol times.

  • tru 90's kid is when u was born 1990, 92. 93...in mi opinion. lol early 90's :) 1992 born baby! :D

  • Lyrics: Na na na na etc...

  • Alright Alright! XD

  • im a 90s kids. i remember all this stuff! i remember when ps2 came out and everything and bro had a ps1!

  • yea i did, i remember danny phantom and fairly odd parents. i use to love those shows and i still do! only good shows they have now are like icarly and hannah montana.i miss the 90s!

98 baby born and raised is where i spent most of my days! :)

  • YOU'RE NOT A 90'S KID!! YOU'RE A 00's KID!!!!!!

  • 98 wtf?

  • @Soda: Umm, no offense, but you're not really a "true 90's kid." Sure, you were born in the 90's but you didn't experience them. :P

  • i concur with vampire287561908

  • yeah no you aren't

  • So funny. I was born in 85 and this show seems like yesterday to me. I miss the 90s.

  • my favorite part of this show were the crazy computer games she played! LOL! Does anybody remember that??

  • baby bombers!!!! that was a god one.

  • you mean a good one, not god one. check spelling before posting.

  • dude, we are old now.

  • I was born in 88, I remember trying to dress like Clarissa lol!

  • Ich habe die 90er geliebt.

Wenn man sich die ganzen Zeichentrickserien ansieht, fühlt man sich in seine Kindheit zurück.

  • i love being a 90s kid :)

kids these days are missing out and their watching stuff like real world and other stuff

  • As told by ginger and fairly odd parents where NOT from 90s, they are totally from 2000s, and if you were born in 98 then your shows were zim invader, odd parents, ginger and sponge bob, DONT GET CONFUSED.

  • 97' bro was 91' but I know I really miss these shows too! Muppet Babies! We miss you!!

  • yeah you're a Y2k kid!!! But I'm sure by 2020 or 2030 you and a bunch of other 00's kids are going talking about how u miss the shows YOU grew up with lol!

  • BORN in '89 btw! :)

  • @ weenie: i was also born in that year..and no i dont want a cookie.

  • i love her pet crocodile or Caiman :D made me want one

  • the best part of this show is:

*slam of ladder* Hey, Sam! *music plays + Sam comes through window* Hey, Clarissa.

    + Elvis the lizard. ^__^

  • @SkodaExpress is that when you were born? cuz if so, then you missed out on the majority of the good shows.

  • @SkodaExpress how do you miss the 90's if you were born in '98. very unfathomable.

  • I loooved this show; it was so clever and well-written and I loved all her fun/quirky outfits, although I always thought what she's wearing in this title sequence looks kind of like a hooker outfit.

  • 1991 baby. Damn, the 90's were honestly the best.

  • most likely not, but I could gag that they got the idea of Sabrina based on the fact that Melissa made her brother disappear in the opening credits of this show :P

and if for some odd, strange, weird...strange...reason that it IS the reason...let me know :P

  • OMG. Sam pushes mongo! I only noticed it now. :(

  • since my brother was born in 1995 i have watched alot of spongebob with him and i remember when danny phantom came out,

    1998 baby

kids needa get outta here these days, they dont kno what they missing

  • Watching it on the internet isn't the same as watching it on TV :(

  • i remember i use to watch as told by ginger all the time

so im definately a 90s kid

  • your a late 90s kid, not a true 90's kid, being born in the beginning of 1990 like on march like me, makes you a true 90's kid, anyone born in 1990 or a little before are true 90's, Not to be an asshole or anything just trying to clarify this for you.

  • I was born in '87. I experienced the entire decade. I am a true '90's kid.

  • Right there with ya.

  • As Told by Ginger came out in 2000.

A 90's show would be, for me, a show that had the feel of desperately trying to break free from the 80's but not quite getting there. It still had an 80's feel to it, but it had its own attitude. Doug was a good example of this.

  • I watched this show growing up!

    90s kid for life!

    ( I was born in 1990 )

  • Drake & Josh wuzz a good show but no1 can take the spotlight from Kenan&Kel

Kenan&Kel all the way u should look at Kenan&Kel also

  • i miss the 90s so much

born and raised in the year 1998 lol

    the 90s was the bomb

i remember watching danny phantom and the fairly odd parents all the time. kids now are missing out!

  • anybody remember eerie indiana and pete and pete, great stuff, everything sucks now

  • wtf are you talking about

  • 98?

You know NOTHING about the 90s.

    Hey Arnold?

Danny Phantom is like from 2006.

    You arent cool.

  • 1998? That's like when all the good shows from the 90s were coming to an end! Ah Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Adventure's of Pete and Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute Your Shorts, the ORIGINAL cast of All That, Hey Dude, Legends of the Hidden Temple...Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom came out wayyyyyy after the 90s

  • I hardly watch Clarissa Explains it all back when I was a kid in the 90's, but I did had a secret crush on her though... I just wish Nickelodeon get rid of iCarly and put this REAL show back on the air! Agreed?

  • Ha. This makes me want to get an alligator and keep him in a kiddie pool full of sand in my room

  • Since the 2000s is over, I know every decade had its own style. I mean in the 2010s, what will it be like as time goes on? My friend say there might be a Revival of the 80's and 90's in this decade. But I'm not sure. There is a hope for a "throwback" thing going on from many.

What might the 2010s be like in the next few years? Do you think?

  • @djaudiorage66 The 2000's already held its own throwback to the two previous decades. Two of the main themes of the 80's were the preppy revival of the early 80's and the god-awful neon trend. Both of those resurfaced in the 2000s. The preppy movement came back with this desire to dress "fratty" (i.e. polos, seersucker shorts, sperry's ,etc.). The neon revival came with the trendy scene kids.

The 90's had plaid as the bing thing, and out of nowhere, that's back in style.

  • @djaudiorage66 everyones saying that, but i highly doubt it. this is going to be the decade of serious internet usage. instead of fun tv shows there are going to be fun websites. this decade is going to be a laidback decade. where people just sit home on their computers all day and come up with websites.

  • Can't believe this show started on the air like almost 20 years ago! I think it came out in 1991, I believe. Before the original Nicktoons.

Gosh, I miss the early 90's. 1991 and 1992 was the best years during the Nineties for music and entertainment. Fo real!

  • i was 2 years old....... 2 FRIGGEN YEARS OLD!!!

  • pushes mongo

  • she really does...fudge

  • Haha this show was one of my favorites growing up! She was definatly my role model when I was like 10. lol. Can't believe it's been like 20 years since this aired haha. :P

  • I don't get it, why didn't they let her write her name?

  • Its so 90's. :D I love it.

  • anybody remember that nick of fox 11 show with i kid transported to another dimension, it was live action, it had people with Armour that could manipulate electricity and the ending of the show their were close up shots of plasma balls when the credits roll ive been unable to find the name

  • Are you talking about Spellbinder?

  • @breerex123 secret world of alex mack?

  • Nostalgia hahaha

  • I feel so old lol. almost 2 decades gone by... the 90s were definantly the best for tv. todays shows suck. they rly need to come up with a older fashioned show.

  • @Lords118 so friggin true. it been almost 20 years since this show first aired.

  • I seriously doubt it. We're just getting old now, lets face it

  • :D this brings back memories. I remember all these old shows, i would have to say the angry beavers and clarrissa knows it all, were my top favs

  • WAY COOL! JUST DO IT!

  • If I keep watching these things. Im gonna cry.

  • todays shows on nick SUCK

  • I remember this! shaaaame

  • Nah nah n-na-nah. N-n-nah na-na nah. (Alright alright) Nah nah na-na nah. N-n-nah na-na nah. (Way cool)
