  • It wasn't necessarily the receiver, it was your transmitter. The 6XI has been known for doing exactly what happened to your plane. We lost our club trainer in June when the receiver lost bind and the plane plowed straight into the ground at full speed. Then again you have a 6200 which had a recall too for doing a "hold" condition. I would send both back to Horizon Hobby for upgrades.

  • I was able to find this particular working perfectly through roulettecash!org, I was in fact skeptical at first, nevertheless they permit us utilize the application for no cost.

  • that really sucks dude

  • Yeah, it really did suck when it went into the ground. I haven't had any problems since then with my radio, I think there was a hair-line crack in the RX board and the vibration from the engine caused a brown-out. I use lots of foam now on my planes to help with vibration issues and it seems to be working :)

  • one of the sickest feelings when you know your pride and joy is about to crash :( damn shame and 2.4ghz too!! im still 35mhz at mo but will soon change over to 2.4ghz, any probs since that day? shame yt took away the sound track :/
