bull bull or bull shit? u know nothing about finance, so it's pointless to say U anything about it. but, where from this manna came here? you know why you are so dramatic rather than logical? cos u r another brainwashed political dog who only knows how to worship the leaders of his own party and fight against any other party, views or people what ever. U people filled up the country with hatred and conflicts
not to mention .. whatever profit GB is making from the interest rate goes directly
back to poor again. Because they are
re-investing this profit for the welfare of poor people again. GB is solely owned by the poor people who are poor borrowers, not by government or any single individual or not even by Prof. Yunus :)
Listen Bulbul, I have worked in Grameen Bank as in intern and have seen their programs closely. It is incredible how they have changed the lives of a lot of poor people with their hard work and sincerity. You talked about 20% interest rate but are you intelligent enough to think that these loans are given without any collateral. Is there any other bank in the world that would do that?
apart from a few spelling errors and missing key points such as how grameen bank and its strategies are making vulnerable people trapped in debt, the whole video could have been better. but have to agree with the content.
@ 20% declained rate....hmm come to pretty much 32-36%. well on the top, add a profit margin of another 30% to "SURVIVE" .... name a business (small or big) that has a guranteed 60% turn over. I would invest some.
What is worse...a 20% interest rate, or a 99% interest rate? Are you telling me that the 40+ women Dr. Yunus loaned < 30 USD to were complaining that they were getting a 79% break on the local market rate?
Guess what? In the US, consumers regularly pay 25% interest COMPOUNDED DAILY. Capped at 100% of principal? Hah!!! Your average mortgage easily goes to 250% of principal. You need to get out of your little world and see what finance is really like.
Dont follow the rythm. Use your brain to figure whats right and whats not.
it pleases me, my country has won the Nobel prize. I swear to god, I'm so damn proud. But when I look at him....i see nothing but a capitalist business man. I have got nothing against him. What kerishi bank could have done way back...he is doing it.
All I'm saying is...does he really deserve the trust bangladesh is putting on him??
What are you on about? I guess leaving the poor alone and stealing their money under the table is a better idea? I dont see him driving around in exclusive mercs and beamers. The previous two governments we had were corrupt pigs, therefore, even if it were true that he is a capitalist businessman, I'd choose him over the other party leaders _anyday_.
I don't understand...how many poor people have you helped with your video? Guess what? The World Bank gives billions of dollars in aid money to countries all over the world, and how much good does it do? Most of it goes to waste. If capitalism can fix something that blind charity cannot, then I'd say Dr. Yunus is a brilliant capitalist genius. And it's equally obvious that you are not. "bullbull" is right...
