Really, this video is AMAZING. SO detailed, especially because I'm in cosmetology school now and my goal is to move to Tokyo and become one of the most famous (internationally) visual kei makeup artists as well. well ahh Scene is a sterotype created in teh west were as VK is a music genre from Jpn & it is also like a way of life, if you get what i mean. It's thought that scene is insprired by Vk / oshare/harajuku etc. But really the only think the two have in comman is the look.

Vk is much more daring were as scene is more....normal & acepting (i have in the past walked round tescos with VK makeup & got some funny looks XDD)

My granny is a high couture designer so i learned from her.

Its actually kind of uncanny how your particular style of makeup (colours etc) matches mine o.o Nice video~

But just out of interest, any tips on how to style eyebrows? Mine aren't really bushy but they're not very fine either, and VK musicians seem to have VERY fine eyebrows.

well it all depends, most of vk style eyebrows are actually really fine ones, but also most vkei artist completely remove their original eyebrows except for a small piece in the inner section and eyeline a fake eyebrow n.n But if you dont feel like completely removing your eyebrows, just style them by removing them starting from the bottom until you get the desired thickness (or thin-nes in this case XD)

what brand of liquid eyeliner would you recommend? i've heard that some work better than others!

well i've actually found really few or no diferences among eyeliners. I use a plain black Revlon Eyeliner, and it works fine to me. But if you need a tip to choose one, the trick is that it has the right consistency, it must be not too thick nor too fluid.

hmmm this gives me quite a bit of inspiration. i think i would use heavy liquid liner the blend purple at the top of my lids so you can see it better. this works out since i dont currently own black eye shadow.
