Best scene of season 2. The long drawn out transformation like this scene is the way to go. It's the equivalent of a dragonball z transformation. Like he's going Super Saiyan. But it's only as good as the actor doing the transformation and Michael Trevino nailed this scene!
greata said jules that she cast a spell to slow her transformation. don't you think of a ring, just like a daylight ring for vampires, but for a werewolf, to prevent his/her transformation? that would be just awesome!! i think bonnie would do one for tyler:)
AAH this part makes me tear up SO much! x'( poor tyler..this scene is just amazing. Michael Trevino did such an incredible job acting this out! its soo real! im beyond words <3
Michel Trevino .... an amazing act...so truthful!!! (bow) <3 Tyler and Caroline should soo be together.Matt is sweet but with Tyler is like...magic! They have that forbiden connection in which they are willing to risk everything for eachother, like Caroline did in this episode... Please dear producers if u r reading this get them together <3

I love this TF, I keep coming back to it, but sadly, I really wish it was an upright werewolf instead of just turning into a normal wolf. :( Sorta ruins it.
I've never watched the show, but am a huge fan of anything werewolf. and i mean real werewolf, none of that shape-shifter twilight stuff. this is a great transformation imo. most tf's that involve men, kinda make themselves sound too manly. i think if you were really in this sort of pain and general discomfort you WOULD cry and scream like a girl. especially the first time, it would be terrifying, the anticipation alone would be enough to drive someone crazy! great acting, great emotions. 10/10
I get goose pimples everytime I see this scene.Tyler-Caroline are so EPIC.! Best scene in TVD history. So beautiful. They are meant to be!.Matt needs to get lost.!
@shruti1135 ever since I saw the chemistry between them,I've been wanting them to get together.and now next season, they're gonna have a Romeo & Juliet type storyline next season although I have no idea what episode it starts
the part when she closes the door and hes in between man and wolf is soo frigging cool... if only werewolves could remain like that instead of becoming dogs...
omg. i love Tyler & Caroline. the chemistry and feelings they share towards each other .. they care so much. <3 :D Michael Trevino definitely owned this episode. he stole the show. :) Michael & Candice Accola are both amazing actors, and i love them. :P i cried at the end :') they're a beautiful & sweet couple.
Michael Trevino is absolutely 100% positively amaaazing! He acts it out so well - he puts his heart into it x
That is one of the best werewolf transformations I have ever seen because it doesnt go too OTT and he doesnt make it look lame and awkward either - its PERFECT.
I love the vampire diaries x i have watched all of series 2 so far (missed series 1 - eep.) and i will be sure to carry on watching!!! :D :D :D
This werewolf transformation kicked Twilight's butt (and I'm a fan of Twilight). Think of the money the Twilight franchise has at its disposal compared to the available monies a CW show like Vampire Diaries has, and then compare the transformations. Proves this show is going in the absolute right direction.
@grayspeak however...the wolves in twilight are shape shifters, not werewolves. they can shift whenever they want. so it's quick, because they phase. not transform. this is a transformation because he's a werewolf. these are usually described as being rather long and extremely painful.
@Hallamfoebell how can they be painful? hmmm...idk maybe when he says "it hurts" and when he screams and is drenched in swea. MAYBE BECAUSE YOUR BONES AND EVERYTHING ARE MORPHING INTO AND ANIMAL'S. and what the hell are you talking about?
@cgman04 Yeah so what! If you read up on werewolf lore its not that PAINFUL if at ALL! what the hell are you are talking about! Have you seen Teen Wolf?
OMG Those scenes had me tearing up in front of my screen. I just wanted to cuddle him! I absolutely love the chemistry between Caroline and Tyler. Now that they know just how painful this is I hope next time they pump him full of painkillers!!!
This is acting at its finest....Unbelievable...Trevino is amazing....O_O....you can feel the pain he is feeling because he plays it off so well. Also have to give props to the actress who plays Caroline. She's warm and supportive, and she does a wonderful job in conveying her emotions. Haha. I'm being an acting geek, but I'm definately a person who appreciates quality acting.
OMG I feel in love with Caroline and Tyler... I think they just don't want to make other scenes stand out too much cause the focus of this ep is Tyler's transformation..
@ghlover2001 Damon can do anything he wants with his eyes, love him. I would watch Ian read a phone book. Fell in love with him after watching the movie Changing Hearts and his Damon has stolen my heart. :))
@elainecleo well, i've loved ian since young americans (2000) and sorta loved him as boone in lost.
at first the eye popping thing was kind of hilarious, but now it feels overdone. plus his character is seriously losing his intellect. i mean, damon needing alaric to tell him not to chase a werewolf on a full moon?! i want season 1 damon back. that guy that was wreaking havoc and not giving a fuck...just like the books. this softening of damon's character to make elena love him is pure shit.
@ghlover2001 I only started watching Lost because Ian was in it, then had to buy all the season when I got hooked. Yeah I liked the bad-ass Damon, but I also like the brave caring one. I love the one that has major firework and rockets red glare with Elena, those 2 don't need to have sex, just be in the same room..Damon does not always do the smart thing, like wanting to go after the werewolf on a full moon.
@elainecleo i'd known ian was in lost, but he got overshadowed by sawyer imo. boone had his moments, but i just didn't care about a lot of them...which is sad, b/c of how much i lust after ian.
as for d/e. i'm irked by them. i won't deny their chemistry, but the transparency of their progressing "love" is getting to me. it's just too obvious. kinda like bonnie/jeremy. i HATE when u can see a couple being setup from 1000 miles away. i love happy accidents, ex: M/C and even better caroline/tyler!
@elainecleo I LOVE the chemistry and 'eye-sex' between Damon and Elena but this season has dissapointed me so much because we have almost zero progression between them and we get Stefan and Elena shoved down out throats every week. :(
@smac07 I can live with Delena just as they are, if we get more scenes like we did in Slaters house...Damn that was so hot and then in the tomb..awesome. I don't need them together, together, just in the same room works fine for me. LOL
@elainecleo I love the few scenes we've gotten especially last episode even though it was only one, it was cute. I loved how Damon called her "pouty" and when Elena threw the pillow at him. At least they're comfortable around each other again and I think their frienship is restored. I just wish Elena showedmore signs of starting to fall for him because right now its so one sided.
@ghlover2001 I like season 1 Damon but I think that the progression of his character has been good he still gets some badass moments. Damon ha a bit of reckless personality so I can see how he would do something dumb like go after a werewolf on a full moon.
@smac07 but damon was always reckless and smart...a step ahead of the rest. lately he's just been reckless and stupid. i also feel like the progression of his character to someone mostly decent is a bit too quick for having been a complete bastard for the past 100 years or so. for me it's not believable, so i guess that's why i'm kinda over him and his antics for now.
@ghlover2001 I guess you're right about it being unrealistic that he changed so fast, I don'tsee that way but I get why someoneelsewould. For me its Stefan that has gotten annoying this seasonI fond it so forced that he was ableto handle his blood addiction so easily compared to how out of control he was last year. Its almost like he can't have any flaws.
@smac07 it's hard for me to judge stefan objectively (and elena too). i hated both characters in the books, so when i started watching tvd, i was completely taken aback by how much i loved both of them. it's hard for me to see flaws with him when everything he does is just so much better than the book version. whereas with damon, i loved him so freakin much in the books so i'm judging the tv version hard if he slips even a little. if that makes any sense...
@ghlover2001 I liked book Elena and even though TV Elena is different I like the character. Stefan on the other hand is so bland and one dimensional in both the books and the TV show and I just can't stand him. Book Damon was definitely more mysterious and didn't change as much as on the show. I stopped reading after Nightfall though because the plots got ridiculous.
@smac07 hate is a strong word. i was annoyed by how self absorbed elena was and completely irritated with the whininess/1 dimensional nature of stefan. his character is def a little darker on the show, which i think forces him to have quite a few moral dilemmas. imo that gives him much greater depth. plus paul wesley is a really good actor, so that helps too. same for elena. she's a lot more caring, less bitchy and way less selfish than her book counterpart. i stopped after 'the reunion.'
@ghlover2001 I agree with you about Paul he's very good actor and that helps the character but I still don't like Stefan. He had a dark side and I wanted to see more of that, how he struggled with his"blood addiction" but they ruined that by magically curing him. I liked that book Elena wasn't the typical herione she was flawed and a bit self absorbed and that we saw her change a but as the books progressed.
@smac07 "I liked that book Elena wasn't the typical herione she was flawed and a bit self absorbed and that we saw her change a but as the books progressed."
well therein lies my problem. i found elena's self-absorption annoying, yet it was her flaws that made her transformation so meaningful throughout the series. hmmm...writing all this out makes me realize why my main focus was always bonnie/damon and why they became my first ever OTP. also, i forgot about the blood addiction thing :(
@ghlover2001 In the books I actually liked Bonnie and Damon, they made sense. Bonnie was sweet and kind of naive and Damon was drawn to her,but on the show I just can't see both characters are so different, especially Bonnie,so I really can't see it happen. The blood addiction thing is from the show in 1x17 he drank Elena'sblood and he went crazy for a coupleof episodes..
