Now they are Rebranded from Baltimore's News Station to "Maryland's News Station" But they are not in HD... I still like WJZ..especially their Bumper Music...The Bumper/Talentout is AWESOME!!!

I believe this was the time when they were finding a replacement for John Buren, the previous Sports Anchor. For some reason I think Mark Viviano did not join WJZ until 2004.

At the end of the talent open where there's the short of the four standing, who's the lady on the end? It isn't the weather guy that's for sure.

At the end is Sally Thorner. At the time WJZ was putting emphasis on their News Coverage, so they featured their flagship anchors, Denise Koch, Vic Carter (4:30/6/11) and Sally Thorner and Kai Jackson (4/5).

"Chrome Cues" by Music Oasis. They have been using that theme since the beginning of the '90's.

Actually WJZ has been using "Chroma Cues" (the name of the package by Music Oasis) since they commissioned it in 1987. KSNF in Joplin Missouri also used this music in the mid 90's and WTVC in Chattanooga has used the music since 1996.

Yes,it did have lyrics,but i think it was only featured in a promo that used the same music.
