no offense guys, i was a BIG Japanese idol (morning,cute berryz etc) fan b4 but seeing Korean idols (SNSD kara 2ne1 etc) made me think that korean are way better interms of music,style, clothing, physique, looks etc,.

in General korean idols for me is way better

@GigaRagnaSlave Usually Japanfiles has interviews and videos released failry shortly after Sakuracon. As for a dvd in the making, I have no personal knowledge of one.

It's not that people don't know it's part of the US, it's just it isn't mainland so they separate the two, kind of like Hong Kong and China. Anyway, Guam isn't a state like Hawaii, it's just in U.S. territory.

@YukiAiri1 There will be a tentative schedule posted online. It's usually 1-3 weeks before con depending on how much programing they need to more around. So keep an eye out. Berryz Kobo does have thier schedule posted on HelloStoreUSA last I checked :)

If you're 17, it says we must have our guardian in the convention space at all times. What does this mean???

@YukiAiri1 They are required to be registered members of Sakura-con and be in the Convention Center the whole time you are. Being 17 you can be in a different room or even on a different floor as your registered guardian as long as they are in the Convention Center.

@JakeGordonTV They are Musical Guests Of Honor at Sakura-con April 22-24th 2011. They currently have scheduled 2 autograph sessions, a Q&A, and a concert.

@mjfreak5829 If you have a hotel room booked through the Sakuracon system you can get an early entrance wrist band which lets you go in up to 15min early. They usually only allow people to start lining up for general addmission 30min in advance.

@mjfreak5829 They you can not get the early entrance wrist band. If you did not book through Sakura-con you can either call the hotel and see if they still have the room in the Sakura-con hotel block, or re-book your room through the Sakuracon system and still get the early entrance wrist band

@KibahinaxSasuino you only need a membership for the day of the concert you wish to see. There is usually a tentative schedule posted a week or 2 before the convention but note those times/dates can change.

@xxPunkLoLixx You do not need a ticket. Your membership is for all events except the Guest Dinner. You can get a early entrance wristband if you booked a hotel through the Sakuracon hotels to all main events and concert. For the concert you just need to stand in line. Seating however changes year to year but the last 2 years for concerts it has been standing room in the front center and seats on the sides and back as "first come first served"

I live in San Diego and I am a regular at the SD Comic-Con. When I heard Berryz is going to be in Seattle I canceled all my SDCC plans and started planning for SakuraCon. SDCC may be the best but it is also extremely overcrowded. Japanese pop culture, even anime has been slowly becoming less and less important every year as well.
