hang on just one second, i have a 98 fazer 600. its a brilliant bike, and so much more comfy than modern sports 600s. exactly how would you class a grownup bike if this isnt one?
in this instance i was commenting on the situation where allowing some imigrant to rev the arse off your beloved machine minus its exhaust is hardly portraying what i would consider a healthy, cherished point of view. however, to answer your childish question - what is more grown up than an 11yr old small engine street bike? mmmmm.........let me think. how about a ...oh no, er., no my sofas not that fast, and my daughters bicycle has three wheels. no, think you got me beat there!!
since the bike had been crashed, there was no point in looking after it too much, and im guessing that you wouldnt class a 98 R1 as a grownup bike since it has an 11 year old engine as well.
and R1??? how is that relevant to this discussion? are you simply picking models out of mcn or do you long for owning such a bike when your a big boy? and whats with 98, special year for you? the fact is technology has come so far that very few 11yr old bikes can compete on any level with todays standards. a 98 R1 is a crash test dummy and your much loved bandit is a town winter hack at best........ but as long as your happy with it dont stress!
no stress, i merely mentioned the 98 because you said an 11 year old engine. and no, when im a big boy i aim for a busa. but thats a long way off yet. not once did i say they could compete, i know my fazer would struggle against a modern 500, and where did the bandit come into things? i must say im intrigued as to what you ride. i would hope with your lover of the most modern technology being the best that it would have to be the new (and yes i know "r1 again!" r1 with the crossplane crank. yes?
i am a speed demon, but unfortunately im a large speed demon, so most of the litre bikes these days are too small. personally, a GSXR 1000 would be the one i would go for. i apologise if i seemed rude previously, not my intention at all, just a bit of banter. i bet the guy whose video this is is getting bored with us by now.
suppose it offers more fun than eating cabbage and boiled meat. maybe time for a grownup bike

bandit was a typo...but fazer, bandit, hornet...all the same!!
dont dream too much about busa's unless your a lazy speed demon that doesnt like changing gear but doesnt mind having to work your ass off in corners.
wouldnt touch an R1 with your cash, better looking and better handling ltr bikes out there!

Thanks for the interest, this bike had been crashed in the morning, so now the Poles are just having a laugh reving it.
