Never saw this formation. Wow! We are bombarded at least 4 days a week in MS. I see them at 7:30am, then they start up again, around 2:30pm. They use 5 or 6 planes, and make the Xs and checkerboard patterns. One day they made 3 huge Xs. WTF! It only took one morning of sky watching to convince me.
