I have a question about the translation of "naika halo mahlie okoke klootzman, anah". It's translated as "me never forget that woman, oh my" but should it rather be "I will not marry that woman, alas"?

Or can "mahlie" mean both "marry" and "forget"? (it's the same word he uses to propose to the woman).
