His friend's dad works at Third-Party games (The designers of the app) and he just gave it to his friend's dad for a day and I think you know what happened. It will be a while before it comes out though. At least 2012.

valve is using unity to make the ipod touch (iphone) app that is really portal

maybe they could put a lot of effort into it and make it a little easy because you cant move like moving a mouse just to beat glados!

@msvideogame The Wii would be a little more difficult because of:

1. Graphics.

2. Camera problems, yea they could use the Nunchuck for moving Chell or the other main char, but wat about the camera? Of course u could have the cursor move the camera when close to the side of the screen, but would be way to difficult when it comes to turrets and needed for fast portaling puzzles.

@azerty007g It's not fake, it's not Valve that's making this. It was an independent project made by some random group of people who wanted a portable version of Portal. They probably never finished it though. The Unity engine is probably the most common App maker so anyone an use it.

@msvideogame This isn't actually the Source Engine, assets from Portal have been exported to a game engine that has been modified specifically for the iPhone called Unity3D. Valve do not own this engine, and as a result would have to program their own engine that will work correctly with the iPhone or Wii.

@Mexiles110 1. its not a game its a system whichs is more than what can be said for the iphone, 2 there are some very beautiful and emersive games. 3 its the second best selling system of all time, so how that ruines someone please inform me. 4 the iphone and ipod touch cost 200 dollars, and the ds cost 75 to 100 dollars. 5 The games cost 50 at the most but have much more replay value and depth than almost any thing on the appstore. 6 All that and it has buttons sweet, sweet phisical buttons.
