  • dude you look so much like some Hollywood actor i cant remember which name was

  • thank you SO much :D

  • Hey that moody vaterz copied that riff on White Stripes = (.... ok ok...)

  • take your time with the blues

  • Thanks for posting, I've been looking for a simpler blues lick, most are hard to follow and get way to complex to fast. Great lesson, thanks.

  • Sort of sounds like the hard riff after the soft intro of Led Zep's cover of Bring it on Home

  • Hendrix uses this riff in voodoo child

  • Thanks to this lesson, you can tell where the Hendrix Idea came from. I love how he gives the credit to where it belongs. but we all love Hendrix. without a doubt the best blues man, in my opinion...thanks for the lesson. I didn't need it though. I already knew it from voodoo Chile

  • @thebluesrockers you can't be serious when you says Hendrix is the "best blues man"?

  • @BLacKCatB0ne umm blues boy king?

  • @himsandwich - no matter how you word it, Hendrix was not the best blues guitarist ever. Jimi was a great and one of the best guitarists ever, but there were better guitarists in strictly the blues genre.

  • @BLacKCatB0ne dude i know he wasn't. I thought you said he WAS. my mistake. like i said there were others such as muddy watters, b.b. kind (blues boy king) or did you not know that in your infinite blues wisdom?

  • @himsandwich - I didn't catch your BB King reference, I thought it was a play on my comment that Jimi wasn't the "best blues man". I agree with you, in my infinite blues wisdom.

  • Stakkars deg, du vet ikke hva du snakker om = I feel sorry for you, you don`t know what you`re talking about.

  • Cool breakdown of a cool riff...

  • great lesson guy...thanks nyc

  • look howe many views it has. 6666!!!

  • bravo GR

  • thank you

  • dude this lick is sick if you give it some attitude and the slightest amount of overdrive...just exagerate the bends with a little dist. and reverb and really hit the E string hard. Gotta love Muddy waters.

  • cool little lick..

kind of reminds me of lenny kravitz - are you gonna go my way, but in a weird way..

  • yep. That song, voodoo chile, and back in black

  • yeap..same riff..voodoo chile and midnight rambler stones..every used this..jack white used it to on get behind satan album, forgot the song..cheers nyc

  • @TABWISH, and you can hear a hard version in Voodoo Child)

  • @TABWISH dont forget........." are u gonna go my way" (lenny kravitz)

  • dudee i was just thinkin that

  • i love those chill groove licks!5*****

  • I wonder what the no-pick technique does to alter the sound of the guitar :) it certainly is a odd looking one too

  • Informative as usual

  • cool

    ddr
