Then Cid developed the experimental magitek infusion, and for sure, he requested volunteers (remember, Kefka was a general, you just don't force a General into a test like you would do with a random mook). Kefka was one of them, and as a side efect of the successful (or so it seems) infusion, he went nuts. If he is victim of something, it's himself
Maybe, but had those experiments never existed Kefka wouldn't have turned out that way. Also, a General would usually know better than to offer himself for experimentation, meaning he could have been manipulated. If he was in a position of power and was fairly sane to start with, he wouldn't risk everything for something so dangerous.

Jesus Christ, they are from different universes, and were both Fantastic villains in their own respective, Sephiroth isn't "an emo mama's boy" and Kefka is not a "stupid clown". not necessarily, that is all personal opinion. I personally enjoyed 7-10 and thought they were all great in their own regard. A lot of people hate vii and Sephiroth and Cloud by extension simply because it's popular and overrated, fair enough, but that doesn't change the fact that it was still a great game.

I just meant that Garland was a bland character, and I know what you mean final fantasy i wasn't THAT heavy-going story-wise. It was good for it's time but never eally got deep. But that's the way all video games were in its time. He HAS a goal, just no real reason, e.g sephiroth did it for mother, kefka was insane I'm not saying I dislike Garland, I play as him often in Dissidia, I'm hust saying I don't think he was that great a villain. Of course I have a soft spot for giant swords though. :)

He's not a *victim*, after becoming the nutcase psycho we all know and love, he was a "normal" general -like Celes or Leo- of the Gestahlian Empire. Then Cid developed the experimental magitek infusion, and for sure, he requested volunteers (remember, Kefka was a general, you just don't force a General into a test like you would do with a random mook). Kefka was one of them, and as a side efect of the successful (or so it seems) infusion, he went nuts. If he is victim of something, it's himself

Maybe, but had those experiments never existed Kefka wouldn't have turned out that way. Also, a General would usually know better than to offer himself for experimentation, meaning he could have been manipulated. If he was in a position of power and was fairly sane to start with, he wouldn't risk everything for something so dangerous.
Then again, this is the type of thing that leads to weird FF related theories. I'll stop talking now XD
